  1. Cancel the payment of everyones Bill's and that's enough for people to survive on.
  2. I have literally not looked at anything but the Pentagon confirming it's a UFO is them simply just saying "Nah we don't know what that is... nowt of ours anyway" willing to be corrected on that though.
  3. She over reacted. Acknowledged, apologised and will deal with whatever repercussions come her way, shouldn't even be a story. It's been absolutely everywhere.
  4. Since they haven't basically sat dormant I would imagine they aren't short a few quid but an Oasis reunion tour (again) wouldn't half boost their accounts a bit more if they fancied, plus none of their fans would object but I agree it ain't like either of them need it. I would wager Liam might need it more than Noel but not only to appease is ego. The documentary was quite good, Liam seemed hell bent on having that rock and roll lifestyle of drugs women and being reckless so you can see where his attitude comes from them, throw in his cocky Manc persona and people seemed to gravitate towards it. He is a **** but I have to be honest he does sometimes make me laugh
  5. To think furloughed people are out sunning it up without a care in the world is a bit daft. I wasn't furloughed straight away but my job relies on jobs coming in to the business. Obviously that has dried up and there's no need for me to be there till work picks up again- if work picks up again. It's concerning knowing that the second the scheme ends the furloughed staff will be in the firing line for redundancy, that kind of takes the icing off the sunbathing cake. Lastly. Consider turning Facebook off and take note of the real world.
  6. I think mat substitute would be the better name for it. A lot of none vegetarian people I've spoken to seem to expect vegetarian meat to taste pretty much the same - which let's be honest, it really doesn't. That being said I do like them, besides the Quorn 'pieces' I just can't get on with them.
  7. Pretty unreal to see what the fellas done. I bet he and most people probably thought it would struggle to reach his initial goal since there are many other fundraisers going on. Outstanding stuff.
  8. Working together would be easy if everyone had the same idea but regardless of how much we like to preach about being kind to each other , helping each other out and keeping calm through any problems we have, at the last second the vast majority have the same "screw them as long I'm alright" mentality. We can clearly see it happening. Poor behaviour from the public if you ask me. I went to Aldi this afternoon, there was quite a lot if stuff there actually but the tinned stuff had gone and quite a lot of fresh meat, but the freezers were a lot more full than I expected.
  9. As I hear of all the stores ramping up their delivery services I would imagine they're all to going to be heavily stretched. I'd be happy to take up some weekend work as my office closes at the weekends, but not being in that line I wouldn't know where in Sheffield to look Any ideas from anyone where to fire out a couple of emails. Again this could be in the wrong location but since its Sheffield based I assumed here
  10. Interesting one this which I imagine will have a strong divide. For me to it doesn't really fall in to the category of not being allowed to eat meat on expenses it more falls in to the category of being told what I can and can't have. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-51529207 Seems more like a free publicity stunt to be honest and allegedly all staff agreed to this, of which it isn't exactly a big company. Personally, if I reeeeally wanted meat for lunch, I'd obey the rule, buy my own then buy a suitable vegetarian option on expenses and give it to someone who needs it, the homeless etc..
  11. Mousset's English is coming on well he seems to get on well with the team. With the amount of 'local' lads in United team I always imagine Paul Whitehouses character Julio Inglesias. I keep expecting to see Moose switching between French and Northern more often.
  12. The tickets eventually go on general sale which should allow you to go down and get a couple, depending on if the game is sold out mind you just have to wait till the date it says.
  13. More boring news not applicable in the real world. Strangely enough I have asked my friend about Plantain before when I saw him cooking it and would you believe it we're still friends! You'll find people generally don't care about people questioning their cultures, in fact a lot of people will enjoy educating you on it. It's if you begin to criticise where it becomes an issue.
  14. Saw the pre match interview with Wilder and he pretty much says the team know exactly what he expects of them and what he will get, seems rather confident. It isn't impossible for United to win, personally I think they should go at them straight away, our first half performances have been a bit iffy the past few games.
  15. Nothing that hasn't already been said. Just refuse they'll eventually get bored. Personally I'd go out with better people. I'm no vegetarian, no real desire to be either but I couldn't care less if the person I'm eating with is. The people I don't want to eat with are the preachy foodie types.
  16. Try Pinders opposite Wickes in town, we used to go there when we were in Uni for anything we needed printing special or something along those lines, I would imagine they could do so. Alternatively do you know anyone who works in an office, most office printers can usually scan and print A3.
  17. She claims the authorities pressured or even forced her in to claiming they were false allegations. I imagine this will go on for some time.
  18. Wow they really got all the buzzwords in that link didn't they.
  19. Out of interest what would your solution be to deal with such a man?
  20. These things always concern me. They could be targeting someone completely innocent and hoards of online vigilantes could end up making their life hell.
  21. I would agree with this. My issue with this isn't that they've changed tradition yada yada. For me it's that this head teach has come up with a solution to a problem that doesn't exist. This is a primary school, the kids don't care, what they're more concerned about is getting out of a lesson for an hour to sing a few songs which lets be honest they wont really know the meaning of anyway.
  22. So I have recently at the start of this month moved in to my own rented property. For 2 weeks I've had no internet and phone calls seem not to be working (I get to work before anyone answers) I am needing to set up Council Tax (I have never had to pay it before myself) but everything I can find on their website either relates to paying it as an already existing account holder or applying for a discount, which if I do, required an account number which I don't have. It's becoming quite an ordeal if anyone has any information about how to do this it would be hugely helpful. I plan to head in to the local Council office at some point but I thought I'd ask here for any advice. Thanks
  23. Why do some people think we HAVE to change things. It is what it is, if someones snowflakey little heart can't deal with it, then why not make something of their own, who knows it could snowball in to something massive... it's more liable to flop though when people realise stories like this are forced down our throats despite the vast majority of people not really caring at all.
  24. My car has a similar system where if I stab the brake peddle when stopped it holds the car but I would question whether they would remain on hold under intense force, say from being rear ended. I think personally they would release, I could be wrong however can't say I've really looked in to it, just my guess, otherwise why not just have the handbrake, electrical or not
  25. Well you sound like a right enjoyable customer. I've been a few times as I live round the corner, never had such issues. When you spend many hours a day prepping food hundreds of times you're gonna balls up once every now and then, I've never worked in these industries but I don't doubt it will happen. There are stigmas attached to working at Mac D's to say they're a step down is just belittling to everyone. Macdonalds staff included. You've had a couple of bad burritos, deal with it or make your own.
