Why? I'm sure she isn't glamourtising it, purely writing an article about it.Â
...but they want help, not to become the subject of an article, that potentially could be sensationalist!
Â
let the journo contact the appropriate organisations in the field.

Parking permits round there may help residents?
Â
Visiting worshippers would have to arrange alternative transport, thus promoting environmentally friendly methods of transport and helping to appease residents with parking problems?
Â
Just an idea.
-
if it was a church i would say it was ugly and inappropriate.
-
Dunno mate - but its a good point.

I would certainly not want to live anywhere nearer than where i am - thats near enough!

Look love,1) Plain talker is a woman.
Â
2) Are you also campaigning to get Sheffield united's ground closed as well. Because the amount of traffic chaos that causes every other saturday is at least 50 times more severe than the new Mosque could ever be..
Â
"Look love" is extremely patronising.
Â
Two wrongs do not make a right.

Perhaps you would like to go and educate the vast number of British people who have moved to Southern Spain.Â
..who are equally as guilty of being insular, small minded, lazy and not prepared to becoming part of the community.
Â
You are really not helping your argument are you?
-
there is a car park right next to it, to say you live there you dont really notice much do you?Â
although obviously the car park is no way big enough to hold all the visitors, but saying that the car park at bramall lane is no where big enough to hold all the fans there on match days, but you dont here no one complaining about that though do you?
Â
That wee littlespace is a carpark???????
Â
That is by no means a carpark in any sense of the word for a building that size - with the use that it will get.
Â
Yes - i did notice that small patch of tarmac, you sarcastic monkey!
-
Does anybody know what will happen regarding car parking?
Â
There is no car park, as far as i can tell - i live near there and it will be a total nightmare. I am dreading the opening for the congestion alone.
Â
Its going to be murder driving around there.
-
No that is not true of me certainly.
Â
Also, even if you do not mind the building i cannot see how anyone can describe it as delightful, unless you were brought up in toytown.
-
there are a lot of muslims in that area so why r u guys moaning and it does look nice, looks more desirable than the old mosque and you guys no it!!!Â
At least the old mosque fitted in with the general area - this one is totally out of character.
Â
Just because there are a lot of moslems does not mean there has to be such an ugly building does it?
Â
Why not something more in keeping with the area and a building reflecting the traffic congestion around there i.e - decent car parking space.
Â
The rest of the non islamic community seems to have had their views ignored and this building has appeared to be imposed on the area, without wider consideration of ALL our community.
-
I'm with you stormy
-
It is extremely ugly and imposing - taking over the skyline and dominating the surrounding area - should have been built on some land away from terraced streets, as it feels very claustraphobic down there now.
Â
I must also add that this is not because it is islamic, but because it is an eyesore.

U can have me on toast if you MUST Pasty, but i warn you, i am quite expensive.Â
I will lick you clean for any price;)
-
Toast and Marmite is strictly 'bring your own' ...oh and eat it outside, there's a good chap. Marmite is a bugger to get out of the hardwood floor!Â
....but can't you make me it in a pretty pattern and present it it with a sliver of summat poncey?
-
Internet shopping - much better than both.......
Â
Â
Yeah to the internet!
-
i would still like to know if i can have toast with marmite - that is typically British fayre?
-
