  1. Prince George looks like the antichrist.
  2. Untrue, if you watch live TV or a program being broadcast on terrestrial TV you need a license and if you watch catch-up on I player
  3. Nitroglycerin under the tongue is a well recognized treatment for angina, and I can also say, in my case once smelled never forgotten, the fiercest headache I can ever remember having.
  4. Percy Turner from Jump are good, so are Fenton's in Tickhill and Funks in Hillsborough.
  5. I think I'd be tempted to look to Leeds or even Doncaster for that type of job, but both are relatively easy commutes from Sheffield.
  6. https://www.joolslaw.co.uk/ Unbelievable sadness for the family, but as a child and certainly as a teenager, I undertook extremely risky behavior, entirely on my own, with no prompting from friends, of course no Internet then, and social media was mostly confined to youth clubs. Some of the risky behavior i undertook, included, climbing the cliffs in Thornwick bay and icing along the clay tops because I couldn't climb down, climbing the cliff in Monsaldale, swimming through a pipe on a lake bed, not sure I'd have been found if that went wrong, diving off rocks into rivers and swimming in canals and allowing myself to be washed over wiers. Stupid I know, but I was young and I got away with it Let's celebrate Jooles's life and others who do risky things but fail, they're young. RIP, Jooles. I'm sorry it went wrong.
  7. This is interesting reading, although it fails to question who sets the terms of an inquiry. https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/2025/01/the-public-inquiry-industrial-complex
  8. I have said before, when a political party is branded far right then it will attract those sort of people even if it's not, and when we chuck in the disability story, the again I've said before there is very little difference between the major parties. The appeal of reform UK, if not Nigel, is the hope that it's different not the hope that it's far right.

  11. Good luck next week.
  12. Astrid like Patience is autistic although Sarah Mortenson, who plays Astrid, is not autistic, Ella Maisy who plays Patience, is. Patience isn't subtitled. Another extremely good detective series that I need subtitles for is a Swedish/Danish production called the bridge, it's excellent and one episode as a Yorkshire connection, in that one character wears a Julie Pratt ring. There is a very inferior US version of this series.
  13. Yes wonderful city although the outskirts are a wee bit Wybourn
