  1. Good post. For me their broadband policy summed up how far removed from voters Corbyn had come. With all the issues that voters are concerned about they come up with a policy that addresses something that virtually nobody has an issue with. and I doubt convinced anyone to vote for them. Its time Labour started listening to its voters again virtually all the surveys say that Corbyn along with his Brexit policy WAS the issue. Yet Long Bailey gives him 10/10 You couldn't make it up! A company that does not listen to its customers does not do well.
  2. Agree.Long Bailey is an absolute gift to the Tories almost unelectable imo.
  3. Agree there are a small amount of cases where 0 hour contracts are ok but the vast majority are purely to save the employer money and offer the employee less benefits. They are massively abused by people like Sports Direct.
  4. This reminds me of when the left was firmly in charge during the early 1980's when they were internally supporting candidates popular with the party but unlikely to get them elected and that did not end well! There is so much work to be done to make them electable again starting with a leader that is an asset to the party not a hindrance like Corbyn clearly was.So far they don't seem to think theres a problem let alone trying to fix it.
  5. Long Bailey would be a gift to the Torry's watched her interview on Sunday about getting rid of the house of Lords but when asked what she would replace it with she clearly had very little idea. She also recently gave Corbyn 10/10 quite unbelievable really I fear for the future of the party at least when Foot was in they realised their mistakes and knew they had to change. Now after a disastrous election there seems to be little admission they did anything wrong.
  6. Does that mean the entire block/blocks will now be developed? Also I know its only for repairs but for a massive project like that does not sound a lot of money.
  7. Exactly. Process and paperwork is a critical tool in managing the cleaning process and ensuring staff carry out their duties. Its not a guarantee that it’s being done correctly but if it’s not in place there is a far higher probability that it’s not.
  8. Ours operates a triage system where you speak to the Doctor on the phone between 8.30-9.30 and if needed you will be offered a same day appointment, works pretty well but you are usually waiting at least 15 mins to get through but worth it for a same day appointment imo.
  9. Thanks. And to make things worse the whole journey which I had now paid twice for was spent stood up, really does put you off rail travel, I love it when things work as they should but quickly turns into a nightmare when things go wrong making me favour the car again.
  10. We ended up getting an Aviva train but were told that the ticket was not valid as it was only valid on northern trains even though they are owned by the same people.
  11. Exactly, why come up with a timetable they can not operate? and then come up with every excuse under the sun blaming everyone else.Their customer service is non existent too never even replied to my email about a journey from York to Sheffield where they cancelled at the last minute and expected us to get a bus that would get us in Sheffield at 11pm instead of 8!Can give many other examples of their incompetence. Absolutely appalling service.
  12. Having had experience of Spanish health and safety would not surprise me one bit if there was a cover up here.I mean the hotel said after a matter of days a full and extensive enquiry had found no problems with the pool, really? can they have checked everything got statements and reached a conclusion that quickly? If you look up one of the water slide theme parks in Benidorm earlier this year there was a horrendous accident which the park just basically said it was the victim’s fault for not following instructions.I have visited that park and was shocked at how little instruction was given you basically relied on pictures on the wall and a quick brief from the teenager operating the slide and there have been numerous incidents of people getting injured.I consider myself quite adventurous and like the adrenaline stuff but would not visit there again.
  13. Good have their service is appalling a mixture of late or cancelled services.
  14. Look average or poor all season the fact we got to third says more about the quality of the championship this year than anything.
  15. Agree with all of that. The Sportsman actually does surprisingly well on weekday lunchtimes, we go regularly on a Tuesday but its nearly all food trade infact many particularly older customers dont even buy a drink with their meal and drink tap water.
  16. I avoid that retail park now unless its in the day in the week.A disaster for traffic at busy times who ever signed it off has clearly missed/ignored obvious issues.
  17. Sorry I know this will upset some but they might as well just convert it into something useful like flats got to be better than the eyesore it is today.Rightly or wrongly can not see it ever being a pub again.Would have happened by now if it was going to when it would have cost less to restore it.
  18. As if small business does not have it hard enough without stuff like this to deal with.
  19. Absolutely agree its one of my pet hates when pubs open and close randomly. If your customers do not know if you are open or not they will eventually go elsewhere.Full credit to the Sports shack at Woodseats its sticks to its opening times including Mondays even when its virtually empty.
  20. The amount of people who do not have internet access in this country is tiny about 7% and of that at least half do not want it.Much cheaper to just give that tiny % it for free.
  21. There are so many reasons Corbyn lost the election the press may not have helped but anyone with internet access can check their site like I did to see what their policies are . Most of their ideas did not strike a cord with the majority of voters imo free internet access and re nationalisation(at major cost) being 2 examples. Their Brexit policy was fudged too as even Labour MP's now admit. Most of his front bench are not exactly popular with voters in fact some are clearly a negative, The whole campaign was a mess and a lesson in what not do to win an election.
  22. Yes some good points there for me Brexit policy was a big mistake I read from their own website what their policy was and I did not believe it was a clear or a fair having remain as an option again all but negates the result of the first referendum whatever spin they put on it.Its also clear Corbyn never really connected with his core working class voters.A fatal mistake.
  23. Used them once never arrived despite them having said they sent if three times seems to have the worst reputation if you read trustpilot hundreds of bad reviews.
  24. Been once was OK but not sure why it will survive this time when it has failed so many times in the past Robin Hood seems to get most of the trade round there.
  25. Would have put Brexit strategy as number two if not number one, how Corbyn can expect people to vote for him when he would not give his view on the main issue was a massive error.
