No because the tram draws from a source usually a overhead wire and the return to Earth is via the rails. I don't see a wire or an alternative -

Was abbey motors bought by SUT in the 1930s ?
-
The SUT name could be used and was used by the deregulation bus co as SUT wasn't registered ( i understand they wanted to use Sheffield United tours but couldn't as it was registered). Not 100 percent sure what happened with SUT if it ended up with tracky or SYT/MAINLINE as it gets very complicated. The SUT name may now be registered as part of the dereg story.

The merger / buyout was if I remember rightly Wallace Arnold bought shearings but unusually they then used the shearings name. Iam sure this is what happened However , in connection with the thread the Sheffield United tours name/ brand us invested in the Wallace Arnold company or its successors

It was the bus co SUT they couldn't use the name Sheffield United tours as that is. a registered name understand it's now owned by Wallace Arnold

There is also the narrow gauge line at clayton west - kirkleesvlight railway. This near penistone. While not in Yorkshire there is peak rail at Matlock and butterly railway centre just south of Chesterfield there is a very good viaduct/ bridge over the lake.

[quote=Cyclone;11440549 . . . . they don't sneak out and tow cars away without having signposted the entire area do they. On our road the signs went up on the same day as the no marking came in so anyone who had left there car at home and gone to work would be in trouble -

The work I understand involves new kitchen equipment , new toilets including disabled, changes to seating layout & tables/ decking on part of bowling green Upstairs the old stage will be removed a toilet and bar installed so it becomes a function room, a staff room/ office will also be provided. They were the plans a few weeks ago ---------- Post added 12-07-2016 at 18:36 ---------- CORRECTION Sorry it reopens 12th August 2016
