Help Please With Toyota Auris

Hi can anyone help me please, I have purchased a second hand car everything works fine except the cd player part of the radio. I tried to put in a cd and it was pushing it out saying that there was a cd inside, I have pressed the eject button and nothing happens. Can anyone help me please much appreciated.
