  1. Yes it fires up. We keep losing pressure so re pressurised and it starts back up fine but today and quite often we then get the loud gunshot noise 1-2 hours after. We then had it again 30 minutes later. Nothing since. But it happens more during the night.
  2. Hi, I know this is an old thread but did you ever find what was wrong with your boiler? Everything you described is what is happening with ours. We only had it serviced in August and they can never find an issue. The gunshot sound seems to be a lot more in the colder months and a lot of the time during the early hours of the morning when no heating or water is being used. Thanks.
