one of sheffields gay pubs the cossack as recently closed the ex landlord as approached me to hire the upstairs bar in my pub (bar 101) and if it takes off (which he is confident it will) it was become a perminent thing..i'll keep you informed.

i listen to real radio fm all day at work..and between 6-7pm at home every weekday for the sports phone in.106-108 fm (yorkshire)

well said fella.....i'm 40 the missis 36 we've been together 20 years......we do more clubbing now than we've ever done before and our kids think we're proper "trendy" lol....most of our friends go to the local wmc and play bingo..but hey if they are having fun then thats up to them.

i went in there not so long ago (well plasterd) i saw mark williams from the fast show,he was sat eating.....oh dear i think i upset him..after doing about 20 mins of ooooo! suit you sir and various other things he stood up came over to me and wisperd in my ear..oooo! **** off sir and walked out....mardy bugger

not read the whole thread so might have already been mentioned..but does anyone remember becketts on the manor top......voted best chips in sheffield during the 80's sadly mr B..retired about 10 years ago. i still see him knocking about occasionally,rumour had it that when he sold his shop he also sold his secret for a considerable amount but i have to say the chips were never the same.

my mate dj's at bed (dj watty) its a good night with a good friendly atomphere......when he's playing i usually get comps but don't always use them..will pass them on to you if you like in there....you should also give gate crasher at the republic a whirl once a month its on and my mate also dj's there too....

just wondering what everyones musical tastes are..well being 40 years young i grew up in the 70's but really started to get into music around the time of the mods i.e the jam,secret affair stuff like that,but these days i love the type of music played in some of sheffield clubs speed garage (niche) funky house/vocal house (zero)..well i have got an 18 year old daughter..lol...so what gets your foot taping then?

give this place a wide berth,its a right dump full of the dreggs of society.....worst 3 pubs in sheffield city centre..market tavern,hen and chickens and the cannon.......

bar 101 arrudell gate........but as i work there i would say that

the cossack has just closed down....although i'm not gay i used go in on a sunday afternoon cos the tunes were spot on..the dj's from there are starting from next sunday (30thnov) in the bar 101 upstairs........
