the things i look for are a sense of humour decent looks but definately not vain smart apperence, i.e not a tramp someone who doesn't want to change the way i am secure and happy with themselves ambitious but not too wrapped up in themselves to notice anyone else

i am a straight female with gay friends, the only gay club i've been to is xces, in between atercliffe and pitsmoor i've only been once but i have to say it was one of the BEST nights out i've ever had, some of the guys wanted to take me shopping but i turned them down coz i hate shopping. everyone was so friendly, it's definately somewhere i will go again

just to put things right !!!!!!! a friend of mine is a dancer and has, maybe still does, work at SR, it definatley ain't sleazy and the girls aren't pimped as some people may think. the LADY in question runs her own very respectable beauty salon and has a little boy to look after. she goes on holiday to places like italy maritius etc for weeks at a time so i know that they earn good money and get looked after. drugs are a definate NO NO for punters and staff alike, anyone found carrying or using in sr are thrown off the premesis immediatly and never allowed to return women are allowed to go into and many make friends with the dancers

d'oh course i know where the pub is just didn't realise what it was called c u in there somtime IF all goes well with the house little jo

where bouts is the pheasant then coz i may need a drink or two when i've moved in, my partner is already stressing out would also like to get to know people in the area the only friend i've got up there is my best m8 but would like to know other people too little jo

sorry to hear bout the huntsman closing down used to go there when i was younger n my dad played football for the over 45's the sicey is the closest pub, bout 5 min walk away cheers little jo

i have just had an offer accepted on a house in shiregreen and wondered what people thought bout the area. is there any trouble in particular parts or is it generally trouble free i used to live at the top end of southey green but it's nearly 12 years since i was there, awaiting your opinions little jo

i find the services to stannington pretty good, there is a waiting list for the council properties and the houses for sale aren't all that cheap but depending on your budget there are some very nice ones good luck little jo

the best way to find a houses that are suitable ffor your specifications is to contact the main estate agents, blundells reeds reins & haybrooks cover most areas, ask them to put you on their mailing lists, they will ask you what sort of thing you are looking for and what areas you want, if your maximum price is bout £85,000 tell them that your max price is £75,000 then the houses they tell you bout will have a max asking price of £75,000 but if u really like a property you have still got enough to play with if it goes above the asking price which most propewrties do, the first property i looked at ended up going for £20,000 more than the askin price and you would have to spend that much on it to get it in to a liveable condition but good look anyway little jo

i also depend on bus services to get around, i am currently in stannington, the services up here are pretty frequent, both 82 and 83 cover stannington. these run bout every 10 min during the day and every 20 - 30 min after 6pm. i used to live in oughtibridge, the 57 comes from the sheffield interchange straight along the main road into hillbro, oughtibridge then when it gets to deepcarr it goes around the tops, the 58 also comes straight from the interchange and into hillsbro, when it gets to hillsbro it goes up dykes hall rd over the top into oughtibridge and back on to the main road and straight into deepcarr and stocksbridge along the main rd these run bout every 1/2 hour after 6pm for each service and bout every 15 min b4 9am. if you need any more info you could give travel line a call 01709 515151, they have all the bus times in sheffield and can tell you what services cover what areas. they can also tell you bout the super tram service which covers the main areas of sheffield good luck little jo
