Protest In Waitrose, Ecclesall Road
SquirrelFeeder replied to *_ash_*'s topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Was in the store when protesters were there, more tuneful song and less annoying than Xmas carol singers I had seen in Waitrose previously. I walked round the group of protesters outside, one lady stopped shouting as I did so which was good ๐ they seemed alright to me. -

What are your favourite film soundtracks?

Top Gun (just seen the amazing sequel) ๐ -
Nothing extra since that post. Some of the comments on there from unhappy people are fab

Just been posted on twitter: Good news every one. We are now clear to run through to Halfway. The first departure from Halfway will be the 11:54. Trams no longer turning at Beighton Drake house.
-
Not running past Beighton yet. No equipment there now and an unmanned cherry picker thing on the track at Waterthorpe fingers crossed they finish soon ๐
-
I use Waterthorpe, hopefully back there tomorrow - going to Beighton just feels odd ๐

I saw this on their website letโs hope it works! We're making some minor changes to the timetable from Sunday 29 May (from 15 May for Tram Train), to improve punctuality and reliability.
-
New Twitter post says maybe fixed after Friday 06 May, they are waiting on parts.
-
Itโs still not running past Beighton, crazy
-
When I went past the Beighton stop this afternoon I noticed they still have yellow barriers on the tracks, is it normal service tomorrow (Tuesday) or still stopping there ?
-
Seen on Twitter We are unfortunately unable to run any Tram/Train services until further notice. This follows advice by the manufacturer,Stadler, that we need to temporarily withdraw the fleet. A further update will be provided as soon as we have been updated by Stadler. Anybody know whatโs up and if there will be enough of the older trams for normal service on rest of the network on Monday ?
