  1. Hi. Iv seen a few posts that are 10 yrs old but thought I'd ask.. How are they in terms of repairs and stuff in 2020? And how is the bottom of butterthwaite Road. House looks fine from outside and I can't be too fussy but windows seemed older (some of them) and read a lot of bad stuff and some posted a fair while back. Opinions? Xxx
  2. OK this is a decade old nearly but... Butterthwaite Road (bottom end).. Opinions? The house iv been offered looks fine from outside and I'm in no position to be fussy but reading all this makes me worry. I'm awaiting a load of tenant checks before I can have the proper offer and view inside. What are the repairs like these days... As dire as they were ten years ago? The house seems to have a few of the older windows. Do sanctuary not upgrade them like the council did t all their properties years ago? Like I said the house looks fine and iv lived in various places and can't really be picky as its a house and it's near where I need to be but anxious awaiting a viewing (whenever that will be) and wondered what to expect. Thanks
  3. Lol. Well the reviews from current residents (presumably all current) are that it's a prison block and plagued by the youth of lowedges hanging about on the stairwell... *sigh*
  4. Correct... Not a great deal of choice. New choice is lowedges.... Edmund close. But that is getting just as much of a bashing on the fb group I posted on x
  5. Absolute toilet 😁 what's wrong with it? Honest answers please
  6. Aww I didn't see that at all I googled for hours 😁. Thanks so much x Tbh I'm about 5th in e list for Hyde Park now anyway. Winn is closer to where I need to be for schools etc still not close enough really but.... I have tried looking at the sizes of the places inside as council give nothing. It's boarded up and the very few I found online don't seem to show the bedrooms. I have 3 girls so need to make sure the second bedroom is big enough for two but not having much joy...

  8. Thanks for replying. Yes iv lived on a maisonette before and got burgled in Broad day light so I'm wary but also in desperate need of somewhere to live however I have to think of the little ones first and their safety x
  9. Hi all opinions of winn drive please. I know its got a rep but is it OK now? All the threads I see are old. Have 3 kids what are the maisonettes like x
  10. Hi. I'm after up to date info on these as I gather they're owned and rented out by guiness (formerly Northern counties)? What's the block like is it a dump with broken lifts and graffiti or is it improved? What are the 3 bed maisonettes like? Thanks in advance x
  11. Hi.. Sorry to put this here but posted in housing and no joy. Can anyone tell me the sizes of the 3 bed terraces on hartley brook (sanctuary housing)? Tried to get info from them before applying but none available. Just wondering if the lounge /living room is an OK size and kitchen. Iv googled also and found a few pics from old sale or rent ads. Suppose there will be some variation but in general?? Thanks
  12. Anyone know if the houses offered to rent on and around shiregreen is hartley brrok Road, are OK? Not much info no pics and long roads so after more info please
