  1. Cats in Space comes to Corporation on Friday the 15th of May, 2020. Formed in Horsham, West Sussex, England in 2015, Cats in Space was the brainchild of guitarist Greg Hart and drummer Steevi Bacon, who quickly pulled together the rest of the band -- Paul Manzi (vocals), Jeff Brown (bass), Dean Howard (guitar), and Andy Stewart (keys) -- before setting about writing material that drew inspiration from classic '70s and '80s power pop and rock. The group's debut album, Too Many Gods, appeared in October of that year and saw them collaborating with 10cc's Mick Wilson and the Sweet's Andy Scott. At the beginning of 2017 the group headed out on tour with Thunder while also grabbing the opening slot at Phil Collins' London, Hyde Park show. The band delivered their sophomore album, Scarecrow, at the end of August 2017, before heading out on tour with Deep Purple across Europe. The beginning of 2018 saw the arrival of the group's first live record Cats Alive!, before spending the rest of the year writing and recording their third LP. The effort -- titled Day Trip to Narnia -- saw release in early 2019. Tickets are available on the door on Friday the 15th of May, 2020 or £20 in advance on the website Corporation

  12. Daxx & Roxane are a kick-ass 4 piece rock’n’ roll band originating from Switzerland, now based in London. With Mötley Crüe, Deep Purple and AC/DC as their key influences, it’s no wonder that Kerrang! Magazine has hailed them as “tooth-and-nail, testosterone-powered rock.” Their philosophy, that “Rock’n’Roll is all about energy. It's about creating an adrenaline rush” is reflected in their intense live shows, as anyone who witnessed their storming homecoming gig at the Montreux Jazz Festival would tell you. The band were also handpicked as main support at HIM’s final UK show in December 2017 at the Camden Roundhouse, which speaks for itself. In 2018 they focused on touring the UK as headliner as well as support so they could meet as many people as possible and share their music with the largest audience possible. This year, they kept touring around the UK with 3 different tours in July, September and October. Their main focus is however the recording of an eagerly anticipated new album which is due for April 2020. Doors are at 19:00 on Saturday 7th of March 2020. Tickets available on the door on the night, at Rocky Horror's Party On in Sheffield, and Mesmerize in Rotherham or £8 in advance. Daxx & Roxane
