Wow, yes i do remember kev renwick, tiny little lad with round glasses ,just like me , we went on a mission one day to the quarry opposite shiregreen cemetry now jacobs drive and the quarry was full of water, kev fell in ,the sides were very slippy ,we had a right job getting him out,it terrified us,we were so lucky, ill never forget how scared we all were. The wilsons moved to shiregreen, michell, delise, wayne and malcom, wayne was my best mate back then, malc and my little brother went missing one day ,they had been gone all day ,they had ended up over burngreave and the nuns found them and bathed them ,our terry was only 3. When i read some of the names mentioned i remember the names but not the faces, but i left grimme in 72 and i was only 10 . when you all went to whiteways i never went there.i went to hartley brook then firth park comp. After we moved to shiregreen i spent all my time at my grand parents on skinnethorpe.
  21. I understand people's frustrations in seeing page hall in such a state, but i dont see how just washing our hands of the situation can resolve it. I didn't know that the council go every other day to clean the streets,if thats the case then surely there are leaders of the community that could be doing more. I grew up in page hall and its sad to see such decline but i fear it will just get worse if there is no intervention of any kind from the wider community, they need help, that im sure of.
  22. So why dont we all get together one weekend with them ,get some vans and clean the place up . It would be a start .... From small acorns mate ,and all that ..
