My situation is passed by act of parliament and in law. My wife and I paid into the system for 35 years and still would be now if personal circumstances hadn't dictated .Your answer is pathetic, you sound like a discriminatory type and are cruel to think that way .Do you really think Linaker and all the rest of the over paid should get money like they do from public subscription TV and my wife and I should be left out because her health is in severe continual decline? I bet you backed government spending on all the public sector inefficient industries ,steel,gas coal telecoms electric etc etc

no ….its the tax taken from the private sector business that always has to pay ,and those monies comes from business that make money to pay their employees so HMRC can pay for the infra structure along with all the other combined taxes which now is just so high.No insult meant here, just stating a fact to you.

Check out Bauer media they own radio hallam. Check out who owns LBC,it may amaze you? BBC Look North,total waste ,whether its on BBC breakfast or evening showing.. the late night live outside broad casts are pointless, as is the BBC programme of the same name.The Unions involved within the BBC need to be addressed to rid the BBC of an attitude that will eventually eradicate them. We get to much repeat repeat ,repeat.Over staffed spoilt and pompous .It's so sad that there isn't a method of getting through to them ,but thats the same with all the previous public sector companies who no longer exist

Sorry I don't agree with you at all. None of the license payers have a say on what happens within the quango organisation. Steve Wright gets £500000 for his show,he doesn't even pick what's played ! Tot up all the time he's on air per show and I bet its not longer than 45 minutes. BBC weather are over loaded with presenters whether it be on TV or radio,jobs are duplicated for every region in every department when most of news is got from central news so all they do is read it,not collate it. If it ever gets to a vote to keep it or sell it I'd vote to get rid along with Channel 4, like we did with BT,B Gas,British steel,water,British Leyland ,coal etc etc,they were all over manned over paid set ups heavily reliant on government to bail them.I don't want to pay the license fee as I don't want to watch the BBC,but I have no choice,and I don't like that.BBC need to be more efficient like LBC,BBC are not good value now.

It's about time politicians got a hold with this quango.Has anyone ever thought about the fact that Radio Sheffield have to many people in the studio presenting programs at the same time? For example on Ronay Robinsons daily programme they have one person for the weather,one person for reading sport headlines ,one person to read the news,all of which have probably no more than a 2 minute slot at a time.The whole organisation is over manned.I contacted the station twice asking what their annual budget was to no effect. Anyone know how to get the figures I'm asking about? On another point,the BBC TV side are of no interest to me now.They have become an irrelevant money wasting left wing organisation, that make poor programmes and pay too much to their employees,£2million for Gary Lineker get real...get rid

Far to many public sector workers,MP,Drs,Police,Fire,etc etc ,earn too much and have easy employment contracts/pension entitlements/flexi hours giving time off .My Ma died on a Friday..Dr who confirmed passing went off on a 4 day break so my family couldn't .oh god ,we could.nt get to see Mum till 10 days after cos the Dr didn't come back on shift till then.I'm sick of hearing about the public sector workers compared to private sector.Nursers 3 x 12 hour shift then 4 days off is that fair? Doctors doing 3 days in surgery then £600 day doing locum work.Teachers retiring,then going back earning more in same school for doing same job.School lecturers who do nothing from May till new term in September,and get a quarter of the year off too.....Thank god tories are in
