Howdy! 😎🤙 Apex District is currently looking for a guitarist to join our ranks!
We have a serious attitude towards our music with an EP on the way and the intent of gigging a fair amount - We play originals only as we have 4 songs already in the bank with more to come during this next phase of writing, so there is plenty of material to learn from and we have full Guitar Pro scores as well as sharing videos between each other to showcase riffs/song ideas.
The role of guitarist can switch between rhythm and lead so if you've ever fancied yourself as a rhythm beast or a solo god then both are as welcome as each other! Our influences include, but are not limited to: Tool, Toska, Dream theater, Opeth, Animals as leaders, Leprous, HAKEN, anything that grooves and anything that's progressively interesting!Requirements:
Have a positive attitude towards learning new things and pushing your musical talents/boundaries
Have some knowledge of music theory (basic is fine, no need to be scale god or anything like that)
Have a full rig (Amp head, cab, 1-2 guitars etc.)
Be available for 2 practices a week (1 week minimum to start then move to 2 practices in order to stick to a 'gig ready' standard)
Preferred but not essential:
Transportation
Gigging experience
Guitar Pro experience
