Hope I'm posting in the right place. If not, apologies.
I'm trying to find something out for my better half. She's enrolling on a teaching assistant course at Sheffield College this week and we've found ourselves a bit confused about the cost of it.
When she went to the interview in May, she was told the price for the Level 2 qualification would be roughly £800. We couldn't remember the exact figure so we've gone to look on their website (which is BEYOND useless, by the way) and it seems they've done 1 of 2 things:
1. Decided to massively increase the cost of the level 2 course to £1417
2. Messed up and put the wrong price on there.
I'm inclined towards the second option because the Level 3 course is the same price on the website. It doesn't make sense for them to cost the same and every other college I'm checking this morning seems to put the cost of the L2 course at about £750, which tallies up with what she was told at interview, and the L3 course at £1400+.
Anyway, my question is, so we've got something to go on, has anybody done the Level 2 teaching assistant course at Sheffield College within the last couple of years and, if so, what was the fee for the course?
