Women's football is embarrassing itself, its trying to be something that its not, it wants to be widespread like the men's game, but the problem is, the strength in depth of quality isn't very widespread as evidenced by some of the rugby scores were seeing such as the 13-0 score line in the USA vs Thailand game yesterday.

It's not jus LGBT, many people believe that heterosexuality should not be a pert of the curriculum either; the reproductive process needs to be taught but many people, me included, believe that the state shouldn't "teach" about sexuality, straight or otherwise.

“what is taught, and how, is ultimately a decision for the school.” So does this mean individual schools can decide whether to have LGBT lessons or not? I expect some will decide not. I personally believe that parents should have the right to withdraw their children from LGBT lessons.

I expect that an optional opt out will in the end be the solution. Most of the Muslims, and many of the non Muslims, that feel that LGBT lessons are not appropriate for their children, are not going to change their minds, and I don't foresee the government abandoning the LGBT lessons policy, so I foresee a typical British fudge and a compromise, like I've described, reached.

Allowing parents with objections to opt their children out of LGBT lessons is the only feasible solution to this.

For the miners strike the government, through the police, implemented the "Ridley plan", basically a contingency plan drawn up by Conservative MP Nicholas Ridley, in case of a large scale strike so as to avoid a repeat of what happened in 1973/74 where the striking miners virtually brought the country to its knees.
