Very good points, and very important to consider the people who aren't at either end of the examples previously mentioned,

Think we've found a new Boris fan.....

You've probably done the right thing to save stress. Perhaps only difference is ask for it back. If it is faulty he'll do it, if he's pulling a fast one he won't.

So, do you only support, traditional, virgin till married for life opposite sex couples in politics? Did anything actually, really happen? Or is the story just good enough to run with regardless?

Mark Field / Greenpeace protester

Or a person chucking somebody out who was causing a disturbance. He probably is that too btw. That would be the sensible way. -

Man handling, is grabbing hold of somebody and ejecting them. It's a well known and understood phrase. In some ways I'm sexist and many ways I'm not. I agree he should have interjected. He probably did it ott. I might have done the same , I might have not. I migjt have done it differently. People aren't perfect. They do what they do as it seems right at the time. Does it make them good or bad, or right or wrong? People judge them on who they are , and their own pre conceived ideas of what they already think of them. -

You're right. In a similar situation I would have ushered the person away, without the man handling. -

You're being very sexist. Should he treat her the same or different? He pushed her out of the building. -
Trump said something like, it was probably shot down by some guy doing the wrong thing, on his own decision. Sounds like he might be backing off???

That's right, it's fun, fun, fun. The kids love it here. -

Not calling him misogynystic though. That wouldn't work then. You'd have to call him a misandrist. -
I don't think we'll know until he's there. TM was a remainer before, so who knows her negotiating ability with that as a background belief? It could change something or change nothing. Often 'that's our final offer' , isn't. The £60bn bill is also a consideration.....

I think so. The outcry is partly because she's a woman. Also the fact some people are calling it misogynistic is interesting. That almost seems sexist in itself that he should behave differently dependent on the persons sex. What , and let them at his foie gras? ! -
Is gender inequality in sentencing ok?

Do you mean the kids having a criminal mother at home is worse than them going into care? -
Whatever happens, there's now nearly a month til they select one. That's another month closer to October 31st with nothing constructive happening.

Are different categories though? Paul Crowther did what he did in a meditated 'assault' on Farage. Field ejected the protester, and would probably claim some form of self or group defence. -

I think the grabbing was by the back or scruff of the neck, not by the throat. -
A greenpeace protester has gone into a government attended black tie dinner, protesting. Mark Field has physically removed them, holding her by the arm and back of neck. Strong reaction or assault?

What is Irans supposed motive in attacking these tankers?

The Sony distribution centre is nothing to do with brwxit. Your bathstore story is. If they are importing a lot, their costs will have gone up. It will affect companies who import more than their competitors do. If their competitors import the same amount, all their costs will raise proportionally of course. So it depends how elastic the market is for their product. Thankfully that trend isn't as widespread as you'd hope. Employment and wage growth are both continuing. -
Also, significantly, those crimes were carried out between 2000-2003 . In his controversial parole release, he had claimed his attacks started in 2006, triggered by the breakdown of a relationship. So, amazingly, a sleazy rapist, who drugged and assaulted women, lied to be set free. Who'd have thought it. I hope is new sentence is suitably harsh.

It's pinned on as Boris now. If he's already on over 50% he's virtually assured of winning that stage. Apparently tory membership prefers him too, so I'd say it's a done deal.

This case is absolutely disgusting, and it looks like the report is just a bodged over nonesense. In principle the fitness to work thing is a good idea. BUT it has to be enforced sensibly. You shouldn't have Joe Bloggs dwp staff overruling medical advice. In the private sector, an employer can get independent medical checks to verify a workers sick note. Similar principles should apply here. But even then, this isn't a case of a gp signing a guy off with a cough. He had numerous severe illnesses and was in hospital. Where the hell is common sense in all of this?

You're the only person I've seen or heard try to blame it on brexit. Then, rather than just admit it isn't, like anybody else would do, just tried to start talking about other things. Your link was not a brexit story. Get over it, there are other things that guide companies. -

Completely different topic. Anyone of substance would have the the character to concede it wasn't relevant. Answers in here are often like watching the tory leadership debate, where they squirm onto talking about something else rather than just giving a straight answer. This isn't Question Time, it's 'supposed' to be a forum where normal people speak to each other.
