Been snowing in Walkley for the past hour

I live on a council estate and I never take taxis any where it’s either bus or walk.And can honestly say neither do my neighbours.Oh and I don’t have a big expensive tv or anything remotely big and expensive.

I’m on about the paddling pools at rivelin valley park

I went yesterday about 11am with my granddaughter the end section was full of water and people the section before that had the sprinklers on it.The rest was dry but was really busy.

As from next week they are removing the 135 bus in Walkley and are doing a ‘ village’ 2 hourly service on weekdays and no weekend service..They cutting the 135 bus cause say trams are easily accessible for people of Walkley andUpperthorpe.But what about the elderly and disabled.They want to try hiking up the hills from the tram it’s not an easy task

Try going through the I’m thinking of leaving option they soon answer.I’ve not done it myself but my daughter swears by it.You can but try.

That’s true about the sunshine you can see it disappearing down the garden as the afternoon gets later

Lower Walkley is a nice place to live it’s handy for town and Hillsborough,Crooks etc.I have lived in Lower Walkley for nearly 40 years and would never dream of moving.Schools are good,shopping excellent and the parks nearby. Ok it’s a bit hard to get about when snows with being so hilly but overall such a nice place and nice people I highly recommend it
