I went to Lowedges school about 1957 Mrs Reed was head I think and infants was mr bash forth he was lovely -
Remember shop didn’t there parents own the shop in village

It’s a bit late but I went to Jordanthorpe girls school when it first opened miss Pebble was head mistress and miss Beech was my form teacher I loved it there the big tree in the middle of field we used to sit in it . I New Pat Coles, Delice Jaqueline Jordan Doreen all lived on green hill/ low edges. I lived on gervase Avenue and I left school in April 1963 .

Jeff if I remember right was his grocery coach that used to come round before shops were built

Does anyone remember allsops it was a coach that came round and sold groceries and fruit vegetable well just about anything you wanted it was before the shops were built

Hi I was born in 48 and went to the village school lowedges school and green hill later at 12 to Jordanthorpe it was new and a girls school I remember miss Prebble she was head mistress and miss beach science teacher and one of my form teachers

I remember Pete Thompson and Robo I went to school with Robo and Steve cooper Ann Cooper Mary Bell (ding dong) Lloyd we used to hang around the terminus and play music dance have a laugh that was in 1960 ish great memories

I lived on Gervase avenue from 1953 till 1965 I went to green hill and Jordan Thorpe when it was a girls school also to the green hill church youth club does anybody remember going to these
