If the consequences of speech is to find yourself on the wrong side of the law then "freedom of speech" is illusory.

If you're prepared to spend a lot of money and time commuting or living down there and spending most of your money on ridiculous rents just for a pokey little flat then go for it. Unless you really land on your feet with a great job its not worth.

Earlier I was looking out of my bedroom window onto the back garden; there was a Blackbird perched on the fence about 5 feet away from my dog and didn't seem bothered at all even though given half a chance the dog would probably bite the Blackbirds head off just for the sake of it, yet when the Blackbird noticed me in the window when I moved, it flew off straight away!

The building that is now the "Job Lot" once had a library in the same building ; you had to go up a flight of stairs to it. There was an impressive artwork of various things to do with story books completely covering the walls of the stairway. Inside I remember a small enclosed circular sitting area for young toddlers to be contained in. If anyone has information and pictures of the inside of the library including the stairway that would be great.

I have great childhood memories of the place in the eighties and nineties. If anyone is able to share information about the place and photographs of the days when it was open that would be great. I remember often having the "kids room" at the back to myself and playing on the arcade machine that was in there at the back of the room.

Is there easily available public access to certain historic information about Sheffield? My particular area of interest is the Parsons Cross estate. I've always been interested in when and by who the estate was built and how the streets got their names etc. Is this information publically accessible somewhere or do you have to be a Sheffield University scholar?
