  1. Above. I know there's that mobile phone supplies and repair shop on the High St next door but one to McDonald's. Helpful answers only, I did buy a cover on Amazon but it didn't fit my new phone so I had to send it back, been to Upperthorpe Post Office this afternoon.
  2. Only because he knows he can pay non UK workers the equivalent of about 3 quid an hour and run the poor sods ragged!
  3. America's gun laws are beyond daft IMO, but that's a topic for another night.
  4. Bit of both, paranoia on your part, and being savvy... The fact that most of the Garages on the site having 5 out of 5 is probably legit, but you're right to suspect it might not be. Try a Garage yourself and then leave your own review to see if you give 5 out of 5.
  5. Indeed. I'm so glad it'll be 30 years at the end of next April since I left the total bobbins that was the primary and secondary education system of the 80s and early 90s.
  6. Achieved a job beyond the voluntary sector and lasted longer than a month.
  7. I've been trying to persuade Mum to sell some of the craft stuff she makes on Etsy, she'd make a packet! But she was 71 3 weeks tomorrow ago, it took us till she was 60 to get her online on the Ipad.
  8. Good, the Tories have been holding out on "legacy benefits" for far too long IMO.... Purely because it would upset the right wing Daily Fail readers who think all disabled adults of working age are "workshy slaves to the benefit system", trust me I've heard it all and much much worse!
  9. Define "normal"?! Some people think I'm not "normal" because I'm on the Autism spectrum, total bobbins and that's being extremely kind.
  10. I still think the FPTP system is total bobbins. Especially when you have the hardcore right wing Daily Fail and Torygraph readers who'd willingly vote for a 3 legged Sheep if it wore the colours of the Tories!
  11. Try the Polish club on Ecclesall Road, or if you want somewhere a bit more central, there's the Office at Upperthorpe, or the Philadelphia club, behind the Infirmary Road Tesco, next to the Martin St Flats.
  12. Enjoy trying to translate Foreign call centres, and being on hold for ages to annoying music....
  13. The Council never does anything in a timely manner IMO.
  14. Not bad but I'd use 500 Mb data in about a week with all my Facebook/Netflix etc on my phone.
  15. Meh, I'm a remainer, I voted remain because A) I knew the conservatives would make a total Sow's Purse of the whole deal and B) Unlike 75% of leave voters (IMO) I don't have an axe to grind against immigrants.
  16. Yeah but you have over 2-300 channels on Sky, and almost all of it's bobbins on a Saturday night.
  17. The big problem and the main reason why every National and local election is essentially a 2 Horse race between Labour and the Tories, is because Nationally the likes of the Liberals and the Greens have no policies that matter to the electorate. Especially at the moment when all the Tories are concerned with is the total load of bobbins that is/was Brexit.
  18. Because the "reasonable adjustments" thing has been a legal requirement for years under various anti-discrimination Acts? (I'll spare y'all my long about how IMO the current Act has no teeth, because the useless clowns in London don't and never will enforce it) I've applied for several local Council jobs including one to be a Lollipop Man at Malin Bridge school last year, I ticked the guaranteed interview for disabled box, they never even acknowledged my application! I officially give up!
  19. Does the thing you click to get into the browser look like the Google logo? If so then it's Chrome
  20. What kind of a silly person buys an expensive car on eBay to begin with? Surely it'd be a lot easier and less messy to go to an actual car dealership?
  21. I'm my time at the Flat, I've had Freeserve, BT, Talk Talk, Plusnet and now Plusnet again, the only reason I left in the first place was because I was still in contract with Talk Talk on the Landline. Back when I lived at Home and was on dial up pre 2002, I had ClaraNET, AOL, BT and Tele2.
  22. I kind of miss Roland Rat (apart from the annoying Cockney accent he was quite funny), I just can't forgive that annoying Gerbil thing for ruining Summer Holiday.
