thanks for the replies and suggestions. one thing to say, its not a new style separate lock, its one where the 2 clips on either end click in and you lock them both separate like a built in lock, will try the paperclip though.

anybody know how or where to get keys to a suitcase, lost originals and dont want to break into it, as i want to use it again.
