just a quick update.today is day 5 and the tablets are doing there thing i have cut down from 40 a day to 20 which for people who know me is excellent i have no side effects yet,touch wood i don't even though im smoking 20 a day now i really don't feel like smoking i don't enjoy the taste now what little taste i get,fingers crossed i can manage to get to the big 0

just to let you all know i took my first tablet today fingers crossed it will help me stop .

I was a taxi driver for over 15 years and i am the first to admit that i have been lost more times than i care to remember,we cant be expected to know every single road or even pub.

Hi all Ive been watching this thread for some time now.and i am impressed with Jabberwocky i am very tempted to try these tablets myself if the Dr will let me have them. just a little bit of info on myself for those of you fortunate not to have come across me before lol. i suffer with a serious heart and lung condition,so serious infact that i was told over 5 years ago that i only had about 18 months left to live.but I'm still here alive and kicking.I have been a smoker since the age of about 18 (started late) i smoke about 40 a day which is the reason for my heart and lung disease.i have had numerous ops on my heart.but after reading about these little tablets i want to at least try to pack in.fingers crossed.if ever there was an advert to pack in smoking the things Ive gone through should do it eg heart attacks/strokes/copd.etc going to Dr's on Monday so heres hoping

hi yes i have to agree if you look at it like that,i did say in my first post that you all do a good job but i still think that at times you are a bit heavy handed (not you personally)but i do agree that we have to have rules in place.

I do agree with what you say but i have seen members banned for a couple of days for just putting something on the for sale forum.then relisting it a couple of days later.i agree that if someone starts a racist thread or a thread that is abusive then that thread should be closed straight away and the member removed but to ban someone for petty activity is i belive very childish.

the mods do a good job BUT there is too much censorship on the forums.eg post something the mods dont like it gets pulled they like nothing better than suspending members.
