Hi,yes I did have a sister called Carol but she has now passed on. I have a terrible memory I cannot remember who lived at 48. The only people I recll is a couple that lived by the yard entrance who at the time seamed quite elderly to me as a small child. They did not have kids and they were the first people to have a telly in our yard. I remember me and Carol going into their house to watch telly for an hour on Sundays I believe and she used to put my hair in rags to make my hair fall into ringlets. Such a long time ago. I live down south so do not get back home very often. ( Still think of Sheffield as home even though I left in 1984) Only seem to go back for family occasions. I last went back for my sister's funeral. I had to stay over and booked on line a hotel Ibis which turned out to have been built in the grounds of one of my old school, which is still there.Carbrook school. I took a walk down to were Swan street used to be, of course it is no longer there made me feel a little sad. Then I walked to my next school which was Coleridge rd shcool that to was still there.
