Me and group of friends have started going every fortnight a few months ago. Have personally never experienced any hostility and have always found the staff very attentive (There's regularly a group of about 10 of us) knowledgeable and up for a laugh.

Over the six weeks holidays, Sheffield Bid are running a number of free Lego events across the city centre. There will be a Lego trail featuring world famous landmarks made out of bricks as well as free building workshops where people can learn to build. Also, for the more enthusiastic builders or those who may not be bale to make it into town, there is a competition where you can win gift cards by creating your own Sheffield themed Lego models! Deffo something to keep the kids entertained More information here http://www.sheffafter5.com/entertainment/competition-big-sheffield-bricktropolis-build

Literally just been singing their praises to someone in the office. I've become a regular since indulging in one of their jacket spuds and a slice of Victoria sponge last week

Agree that Sheffieid can be an expensive night out. All depends on where and when you go. We've just put together an article on where to eat for free in Sheffield if this is of any use: https://www.sheffieldgiftcard.co.uk/free-food-sheffield/

We used Tutorful a few months ago to find a tutor and can't fault the service -
I hope so - only for the selfish reason that I am a slave to their chicken and chips and my waistline doesn't thank me for it!

What influences your choice in terms of places to eat?
ShefGiftCard replied to DerbyTup's topic in Going out in Sheffield
Word of mouth and generally somewhere that catches my eye. Only problem is Sheffield has such an eclectic mix of eateries that there isn't enough days in the week to try them all! Recently eaten at Summerhouse, Peppercorn, Piccolinos, Pieminister and Kitos and all but one were fabulous. I tend to take some of the Trip Advisor and 'independent' reviews with a pinch of salt though *excuse the pun -
Hi Everyone, This is my first post so be nice. . . I am doing some research regarding you lovely Sheffield folk and Mother's Day gifts. I am wondering what sort of presents you buy for your Mums, Nannans, Partners etc. Is it the usual chocolates, flowers and perfumes or will you be purchasing something a bit different?
