Burngreave short mat bowls club are looking at doing a Saturday session during the winter months . It would be weekly between 11am and 1.30pm at Pitsmoor Methodist church . Limited spaces are available . We could do a 2pm till 4.30pm if demand requires it . Any one interest in either time please contact Alan on 07941478698 for more details . We also run sessions on fridays 11am till 1.30pm which is at moment fully booked . We have a few spaces on our thursday night session which is 6pm till 8.30pm .

launching a boccia bowls club at Pitsmoor Methodist church . All are welcome . Boccia bowls is the most wide ranging sport for people of any age or ability . It is played sat down either as singles , pairs or teams of three . it is in the para Olympics . Pitsmoor Methodist has wheel chair access plus disabled toilet facilities . Sessions will be two hours long with a short break in between . Each session is 90 mins long with two 40 minute games and ten minute tea break . Every Thursday 1pm until 2:30 pm at Pitsmoor Methodist Church . Also may be starting session up on Mondays same times . Various competitions plus free tea , coffee and biscuits.

UBI indoor bowls is like carpet bowls or short mat bowls , but you use an UBI pusher to deliver your bowl . There's little bending or effort required. You can even play seated. There's still plenty of skill and tatics required. A game that is open to all . An ideal social sport . Anyone one interested please message me for more details.
