  1. Your vote in 2016 wasn’t to implement anything, it was simply to voice an opinion on the matter. It is up to Parliament to either remain in the EU, leave the EU or if leave, to decide what form that would take, Don’t be so ridiculous! How on earth would you decide who had voted what in the first referendum? 🙄
  2. To be fair, Hoey has been disliked by those on the left of the party for decades before most people had ever heard of Jeremy Corbyn. As a fox-hunting supporter and Ulster Unionist she belongs in the Tory party.
  3. The referendum result is a matter of historical record. I don’t see a single poster on here who denies that. Whether it commits a government to take the UK out of the EU against the wishes of the population is another matter altogether.
  4. No, the Act was to obtain an extension if a deal wasn’t agreed By a certain date. Sending the letter was only part of that process. That is why the court is reserving judgement until an extension is given. If the second letter disrupts the process and an extension is delayed or even cancelled as a result, then Bozo could be judged to have intentionally undermined the Act. Bozo has said on many occasions that he doesn’t think an extension is a good idea. Everybody, including the EU knows his position on this. Specifically sending a letter stating this to Brussels, at the same time as sending his request for an extension could be judged as a deliberate attempt to undermine the legislation however if the extension is granted, then the court will almost certainly bow out.
  5. I’m not sure what this has to do with the council as many of those things such as dormer windows no longer require any planning permission.
  6. The EU do not want a no deal exit so would rather give an extension as a better way of moving forward, especially if that facilitated another referendum which would at least put an end to it.
  7. No, the Benn Act was to ensure that Bozo would not take us out of the EU without a deal which was something that he was promising during the Tory leadership campaign to appeal to the extrmists. An extension was never meant to be to facilitate endless negotiations. Any extension granted would be break the log jam by providing extra time for either another UK referendum or a General Election to reconfigure Parliament. This is still the case.
  8. They must do. I know someone who shared a flat with someone who had been banned from SF and she could never register an account with SF, presumably because she was sharing an IP address which had been previously flagged by SF. 😳
  9. You are mistaking what Juncker is saying. He is saying that there is no need to extend the time needed to complete this deal. If Parliament rejects it, then we are back to square one with Bozo having to go back to Brussels as per the terms of the Benn Act.
  10. Absolutely. The fact that Johnson’s plan was rejected by virtually everyone until it was completely modified at the back end last week, suggests that there were no real discussions going on with Brussels before he send his ‘not written down’ proposal which was laughed out of court. He has talked like a hard man for two months then sacked off all his red lines in less than a week and seems to have panicked the ERG into supporting him. Even the ERG can’t make up their minds about whether they have seen the proposals or not. Andrew Bridgen gave two interviews yesterday, one saying that the ERG have seen and discussed the proposals with Bozo and can live with them. Then on Newsnight when asked if he would support the deal in Parliament said that he hadn’t seen the proposals so would wait and see. Tories lying to us seems to be a thing now.
  11. How do you know that it is self sealing?
  12. What a stupid question to ask on the internet! Nobody knows what type of connection you have, how old it is, how well installed it was in the first place, whether it has been damaged at any point or any amount of other vital information. GET A GAS ENGINEER TO LOOK AT IT!!! 😳
  13. Boris Johnson has described his current talks with Brussels as like climbing the Hilary Step on Everest. Has nobody told him that the Hilary Step no longer exists! 🤣😂🤣
  14. VPN sales have apparently gone through the roof since this measure was announced. Also there has much behind the scenes lobbying against unintended consequences of this plan. It is intended to protect children from exposure to porn but the cost is to expose many adults to fraud by making them hand over either credit card details or personal passport/driving licence details to verify their age. A badly thought out, rubbish idea.
  15. You do know that there are a lot more than 17.4 million people in the UK, don’t you? 🙄
  16. I seem to remember that at the time, you and other right wing posters on here were calling May’s deal a ‘Surrender deal’, ‘Brexit in name only’ and ‘not really leaving’ and saying that MPs should have nothing to do with it.
  17. Did you agree to splitting these one-off works six ways when you bought the lease? My understanding was that service charges for leaseholders included contingency for such works.
  18. Lockdoctor seems to forget that the EU did not vote for Brexit.
  19. The EU has been bending over backwards for the last three years to facilitate a deal. In what way are they making things difficult? 🙄
  20. Not illegal but usually a breach of the rules. If you take a towel into a sauna or steam room to hide your bits it ends up soaking wet so you need to use another one to dry off after your shower. Not good for the hotel’s laundry bill and not good for the environment. 😵 Go nude for the planet! 😉
  21. This would cost money. Virgin offer you the price you get because of cost cutting measures like this. You could have a UK based call centre staffed sufficiently to answer all calls immediately but you would be paying for it.
  22. The thing is that it wouldn’t, as most people couldn’t give a monkey’s. We still live in Victorian times with our attitude to the human body.
  23. Most saunas in European hotels I have been in are not only mixed sex but also nude. If you go in a sauna in Scandinavian countries and most of Holland, Belgium and northern Germany with a towel, you will get very funny looks. 🤣
