  1. Private enterprise in having to sell tickets in order to book acts and make a profit shocker.
  2. Are you ignoring my posts on purpose? I have already told you there are trams. Your ranting as the organiser of another festival is totally embarrassing
  3. What route would you suggest then that takes the replacement bus as near to as many of the existing stops as possible? My example was just a best guess, I actually dont know which route they are taking but in order to serve as many stops as possible (or as near to them), my example makes perfect sense.
  4. Well this is wrong, for starters. And how dare people have a few drinks at a festival!
  5. So people are moaning that a local authority is doing things local authorities have been doing since 2013? Only on Sheffield Forum.
  6. Why would a visitor have something on them showing the address of the people they are visiting?
  7. In which case ask the seller if his mobile device or computer can be used to sort the tax/insurance out, cant see why this would be an issue. And dont buy insurance for a car you may not buy, that is an unnecessary level of faff.
  8. You may be taking the mickey but this is the first actual helpful suggestion in the whole thread. He doesnt want to cart all the furniture/antiques off somewhere, he wants someone to come to the house.
  9. Do you have the same opinion about people who get health problems/issue due to over eating, over drinking, lack of exercise, and/or smoking?
  10. Yes that can be done online as well, very easily using a mobile device.
  11. At a guess, probably to Park Sq roundabout, up towards the Manor, turn left to head to Attercliffe past the tram depot, through Attercliffe past the EIS and then onto Meadowhall. Hardly a "funny route" given its near most of the stops.
  12. Not everyone who voted for Brexit is racist, however all racists voted for Brexit. Seems a fair way of summing it up.
  13. Sheffield the only area where people take it, is it?
  14. The matrix signs on the roads coming into the city have said its on for a few days now. Failing piping information directly into peoples heads, there is little else you can really do.
  15. That is filming by police, and not lollipop women :hihi:
  16. So in breaking news, it seems not all children can be trusted to ensure letters given to them at school actually get home. Who knew?!
  17. Ok so how are people driving to the area going to be aware these restrictions on all these roads exist? Surely they have to put some form of signage on them all or it can easily be contested on an appeal.
  18. Hmm. Was there a Public Notice issued? Will these roads have signs up saying the dates and times the restrictions are in force?
  19. Exactly what I thought as well. Either there has been some miscommunication here or its just a bit of scaremongering.
  20. If my car is taxed, MOT'd and insured I can park it anywhere there are no parking restrictions, I have never heard of a temporary "permit scheme" being brought in, surely there would have had to have been a Public Notice and you would have to repaint roads and put signs up etc... for that to be anywhere near legal?
  21. Im confused by this. If there are no parking restrictions and your car is fully taxed and insured (and with MOT), why do you need to prove you live nearby to park on the street? ---------- Post added 16-07-2018 at 08:38 ---------- People who need to use Yorkshire Bank on a Saturday, perhaps.
  22. I'm not leaving a plastic box lying around the house. A bin is far easier for me.
