  1. Hey Mooks, hope you are on the mend buddy. We’ll win this one and do Boro a favour. Bannan and Hutch to start, Nando to make a ten minute cameo. We can play with no fear and no pressure, sides often play better when they get to that stage.
  2. But, Boy bands are the actual act. The thing that people pay to see/hear. Darts dolly birds are just there for decoration, or possibly tittilation (in the emotionally under-developed). I'm sure that any right minded person can discern a difference.
  3. It can't turn dairy cattle into a good eating though. Not that I'm expecting you to have even considered that, whilst you were frothing at the mouth about the EU.
  4. No amount of subsidy can make a cow give milk without giving birth. Even M. Barnier isn’t that powerful.
  5. To be fair, you can rule out May. She’s not got the organisational skills to set fire to a shopping centre.
  6. I did notice that Dimple had yet another anti Muslim male thread removed earlier. I’m a bit bored of him pushing the same line over and over, but if people want to join in with the thread it should be left open. If nobody is interested it will die quickly. I’m generally not in favour of banning, censoring or suppressing views. Sunlight is the best bleach and we should be prepared to confront ideas we don’t like head on.
  7. I don’t think that sitting in front of a parked vehicle can be construed as obstructing the highway. To commit that offence, you have to prevent free movement along the highway. Leaning on a parked car does no such thing, unless someone is trying to drive it. In this case they were not. It is a good job he wasn’t playing a plastic trumpet at the same time.
  8. You didn’t read it very well then. No surprise there though It has made every media outlet in the land. You can mock the Huff Post and Buzzfeed all you like. Maybe nip and have a chat with Theresa May about what she thinks of online media:cool:
  9. Only if you read mine properly. It would make a change for you to do such a thing:rolleyes:
  10. Of course, this is only news in Sheffield. New Yorkers have other stuff to worry about. https://mobile.nytimes.com/2018/03/13/world/europe/uk-sheffield-trees.html?referer=https://www.google.co.uk/ Happy to help:) I’ll link to the myriad of other national and international news sources carrying the story some other time. This ridiculous collusion between a Labour council, a multinational and our police is making the city a laughing stock.
  11. It is a poor result, as well you know. Using the police as a political weapon never ends well. I do hope that the police are ready to continue Trumpetgate, I think they’ve just bitten off more than they can chew
  12. I'm not sure that blowing a plastic trumpet in broad daylight is likely to be seen by any rational person as a public order offence. As far as I know, there is no law against blowing a plastic trumpet, so the repeat warnings are pretty irrelevant too. I'd love this one to get to court, but I guess that she will be de-arrested. Just like most of the protesters who get taken away by the police.
  13. Back in Parliament. Back doing constituency work. You should pop in and give the lad a bit of encouragement
  14. Or sit? Here is an article from today’s Guardian about the disparity in toilet provision for men and women. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/shortcuts/2018/mar/21/why-women-face-longer-toilet-queues-and-how-we-can-achieve-potty-parity So. Is potty parity desirable, important or even a thing worth writing about?
  15. In quite a few cases, the girls were perceived as being “difficult”. Often in trouble for other things. Because of that, the authorities didn’t intervene as they should, hence the “lifestyle choice” suggestion. It is no excuse really.
  16. Why? Just because it is embarrassing for the government? These things are inextricably linked. Discussing property ownership and political donations is highly relevant to this thread
  17. Are you telling me that Brookes drinks more than Waddle? Strange.
  18. I wasn’t doing. You are of course correct that the gang element is strongly linked to a small number of Pakistani men. The other methods of organisation are largely, but not exclusively linked to the small number of White British offenders. There is also the issue of reporting to take into account. The abuse of Muslim girls is thought to be hugely under-reported for mostly cultural reasons. That leads to questions like the one above “Why do they only abuse white girls”. They don’t. It is a complicated business that is not well served by stereotyping from any angle.
  19. I don’t understand the question. If you mean, can I show you other grooming gangs, the answer is yes. If you mean, can I show you different ways that paedophiles are organised, the answer is yes. There are white gangs, Asian gangs, pairs, rings and lone paedophiles. Rather than waiting for me to spoon feed you, why not do a bit of research of your own?
  20. It’s ok Poundy. You can watch it on telly.
  21. We should do it again next year, just to be sure.
  22. The answer is simple scrapper. They do it because they are revolting paedophiles. Just like the gangs of perverts from every other group in society.
  23. Is that right? That’s an amazing fact
  24. I’m not sure what my ethnicity has to do with anything. I’m happy to explain my response to help the hard of thinking. Scrapper asked for innocent Pakistani men to answer for the peadophiles. I just asked an honest scrap man to answer for all the thieving ones that we all know exist. Kind of an allegory, you see. It is a bit annoying to be asked to answer for criminals based on one facet of your existence.
