  1. With any luck, on appeal, this thug will have her sentence increased.
  2. I tend to think those who call for these tv debates are more interested in being entertained than anything to do with serious political issues. They should be ignored.
  3. I think May's got enough on her plate without having to fanny about with tv debates.
  4. I'm just curious as to the £2,500 limit.

  6. Boris doesn't look too bothered to me. After all, Had he been, he could have refused to take the job. Maybe we should try not to let our judgement of others be influenced too much by our own limitations. Kj
  7. My fear, had we remained, was that we would more likely have become a racist country owing to problems created by an ever increasing number of immigrants, a poor integration policy, in addition to the frustration of being powerless to control those numbers. Kj
  8. Choosing to' remain' meant having to accept anyone and everyone who wished to come here from the EU. How would that help to deal with any future problems associated with immigration?
  9. As I've already said; I voted 'out' mainly, because I had concerns about the combination of uncontrolled immigration, and what seems to be an ineffectual policy of integration. Anyone who thinks such a mix could never become seriously toxic should go to specsavers! Kj

  11. Did you write Dick Van Dyke's script?
  12. Ah yes, I see it now ----- a never ending stream of humanity from different cultures, being forever welcomed, and warmly accepted, into an ever increasingly multicultural society, enriching our everyday lives in so many ways. Given that we don't, and never have lived in an ideal world, if such an altruistic policy were to be adopted, how could we avoid, eventually, adding to our history of human conflict?
  13. Yes, I do sometimes wonder what most psychiatrists would have to say about those who can't control the need to destroy, or witness the destruction of some other living thing, for fun.
