  1. I remember when you could go anywhere for 10p (2p for children) because the fares were subsidised by the sky high rates in Sheffield at the time. Also remember a ticket machine where you dropped coins in and machine "photocopied" the coins onto the back of your ticket.
  2. If you have paid NI contributions then you are entitled to claim contributions based JSA which is not means tested. Used to be for up to 6 months then if still claiming you would need to claim income based JSA which of course is means tested.
  3. (yellow) I went to Hunters Bar which also used rivers but did use Sheaf. Porter (red), Loxley (blue), Rivelin (green), Sheaf. Later went to High Storrs which as previously mentioned used the surnames of head of house teachers
  4. I used to go to Sherbet. Can't remember the name of the one on West Street but that was definitely unisex
