Hi Caza, sorry I can't reply to your message as I am a new user!! I am sure your father is referring to mum. There can't have been another Jean Emery!? She did leave Fulwood and as collected by her mum, so she wasn't adopted but she didn't know her mother because she had been in the home for so long. She had a younger baby sister there too who she didn't get to see. She cannot remember being collected in a car? I hope that helps x
