  1. Good question. Got me thinking now.
  2. I didn't read it all myself. Just that we had a bloke over on the Isle of Wight I think it was did something similar with a double decker bus. Doesn't resolve the problem but I'm sure some of those people are glad of a warm place to sleep.
  3. How about kitting them out for the homeless especially in winter time, with beds and washing facilities and run them into stations in the evening and sending them into sidings during the day. Won't solve the homeless situation but they'd get a warm bed for the night.
  4. Fargo has to be the worst endings but I suspect I feel that way as I have trouble coming to terms when it finishes. Can't wait for season 4 which starts filming at the end of 2019.
  5. That's not quite true, it will be available to Virgin customers and live on Youtube. I'll probably go with the Youtube and use my Apple TV to flash it up onto my TV from my laptop.
  6. Nice read mate, well done. I hope you're OK.
  7. That's interesting. He'll need to change style of play to get the most from him. I think next season will see a decisive change in Sheffield football.
  8. Have a read of this, Virgin channel 100 I think it says, https://www.radiotimes.com/news/sport/2019-05-26/champions-league-final-watch-stream/ @Grahamfff
  9. LOL, did he really? I missed it today, I'll take a look on catch up later. What did Marr want them to call him, maybe BoJo would be acceptable.
  10. Makes you wonder what they used to do doesn't it? The border was never secure anyway, it can and will be sorted. The EU needs to sort it out, it's their problem or it will be. In other news, back on topic, Boris has his old enemy to get passed as well now, Gove has just put his name forward. I wonder if they ever kissed and made up after the fall out at the last leadership election.
  11. May has tried to control the whole process from a remainers standpoint, I'm sure she briefed the civil servants and tied the hands of the politicians she sent there. We need a Brexiteer PM to get this done. Sooner the better, as I've said, Boris doesn't do it for me. The more I think about it the more I think Baker is the man to get us out of the EU.
  12. Of course he can, you think it's just a UK problem? It isn't, it can be controlled by technology and administration. Fact of the matter is this, the EU don't want to resolve the problem as they wish to control us. Boris knows this as do all the other Brexit candidates. Still think Baker is the man. You just have to ask yourself the relevant questions and deduce, don't just believe social media and the press, they are all bent and against the people. I don't want Boris as PM but I could live with it.
  13. They were wasted because May's civil servants weren't aligned. I expect Boris will remove anyone who isn't aligned with the best interests of the country, be they civil servants or MP's. Raab was the same, hands tied by May. We will now be getting a Brexit PM I'm sure. The future of the Conservative Party depends on delivering Brexit. It will probably be Boris, but again, I'd like Baker I think, he'll get my vote.
  14. Lets be clear, the only reason the backstop is a problem is the EU wishes to keep us under control, they don't want to resolve the issue. We need to give them a clear message that we aren't having it, appeasement don't work with these people, but again, I fear we are moving off topic and the mods will be along shortly to tell us so. It is quite easy to do so we have to be disciplined. Back to Steve Baker. He'll sort it i'm sure, Boris is a clever bloke who'll need to back Baker up, along with Raab and David Davis and Gove, there's a wealth of talented Brexiteers there to help the next PM. Better in the EU than in the UK, don't sell your country short. Can't understand how that got through to be honest, I'd just blocked you, Mods, can you help?
  15. I agree, not sure where we go from here, although I think Steve Baker could be the way to go to be honest. Not at all, we could have a border at the Irish Republic ports and we could police it from there. Not like we haven't done it before is it.
  16. No he won't, the EU will have to do that.
  17. Without the backstop, the DUP come back on board and he'll have a majority.
  18. That was a bit tongue in cheek mate, I was just trying to illustrate his upbringing/education, etc.
  19. That's actually a good point, the tories are getting panned in the polls but labour should be doing so much better. Boris and Corbyn at the dispatch box would be a scream. Boris talking in latin whilst Corbyn talking about Maria from Macclesfield whose bins aren't getting emptied on time.
  20. As we've previously stated, Boris is a divisive bloke, you either love him or hate him, but the fact is, there seems to be more people love him than hate him and he draws support across the board.
  21. London has been predominantly Socialist for over 2 decades now so it is still a relevant point, he beat the socialists in their own back yard.
  22. I agree, he is divisive but he did manage to win the London Mayoral election which is no mean feat these days for a Conservative.
  23. This is what you said. No you wasn't, if you want to discuss Brexit, go to the dedicated thread and tag me in.
  24. I'm sorry but we are not to discuss Brexit alone in this thread, there is a dedicated thread for it where you need to go to should you wish to discuss Brexit itself. If you go there and tag me in then I'll answer you there.
