 Falling Down was one hell of a film, best ever performance by Michael Douglas. Not seen Joker yet but the wife keeps pestering me to go. My problem with movie theatres is the stink of popcorn. lol. Mr Fisk-I don`t know much  about Andrew, but I do recall he risked his life saving others while hovering his helicopter over a burning ship during the Falklands conflict.

 No royal has been close enough to the action in war to risk his life since Richard III, and he never made it home. Also if somebody with a spare horse had heard Richard cry out, we could have had  a whole different royal lineage than we have today.😉☺️

now *takes deep breath* I have to say I was a bit disappointed with the beer offering in that there isn’t one - it’s pretty much lager and cider on draught - needs a beer and Guinness pump at least. 
 

really hope it works as that area could stand another bar easy - was amazed the hadfield wasnt taken on by someone with a plan before Sainsbury’s commandeered it.

 

 

 I liked the Hadfield when I had a room in that area between marriages about 1975. Used to go  in there on some Sunday lunchtimes during that summer. Sorry to hear that it has gone the way of so many good pubs from those days in Sheffield. There was another bigger pub further up the road on the same side of the street and on a corner, can't think of the name  though. I suppose that has gone now as well.

As for Wednesday, Just another questionable decision by the club in the last few years. Ticket prices, transfer policy, shirt fiasco, Embargo, selling the ground. We're probably as far away from promotion now as we were when the current owners took over. Expect a points deduction but I read something last night that said expulsion from the league was an option under that rule ?
