Hi all. It plays fine in an actual DVD player, but not when inserted into the laptop. Other DVDs are ok, and they're all region 2. After the DVD's in the laptop, it makes a funny clunky, whirry sound which doesn't happen with other DVDs. I left it for a couple of minutes to see if the laptop would eventually recognise it, but nothing. I've a HP laptop running Win 7 if that's any help. Thanks.

There's more Islamophobia than anti-Semitism, but I've never heard Muslims wanting to leave the UK because of the attacks and abuse towards them. Surely the first step would be to go to the Police if you or your loved ones are being threatened? Bit of a leap to actually want to leave the country in which you were brought up in, and presumably sacrifice your livelihood there too.

Why would anyone use windscreen jets when it's icy?? Surely after the outside temperature's risen, they should start working in any case? Re. an icy windscreen; I just let the engine run for about 5 mins which is how long it takes for the 'cold light' to go out, and then put the heater on full power for a couple more minutes to clear the screen (both inside and out).

Hi all. As the thread title suggests, will an NHS dentist fix or replace an old crown that's become crooked over the years? It stands out from the rest of the teeth and a gap has also formed. It's on the top tooth btw. Will they just say no because it's now a cosmetic issue, or will they replace it with a brand new one? Thanks.

What if a Muslim was called up and he/she said they need to pray 5 times daily as per their Faith? Which would interfere with the trial? Would the judge or court clerk see that as a valid reason for exemption? Thanks.

But how do you explain the photo being blurred when it's just 1 person in the pic? That same person that they're chatting to?

Well for example, they'll be chatting to a guest and then the producers will show a pic relevant to the conversation. And it will always be blurred. Have a look on one of their clips on YouTube and you'll see what I mean. 'Good Morning Britain' does it too. I just can't see the logic behind this. Why show something that we can't make heads or tails out of??

Hi. I've a pretty old crown on my top tooth; it's about 20 years old and it's kinda worn out. Over time, a gap has formed and it looks a bit wonky. After seeing the dentist, he said it doesn't need replacing because it's not causing any major issues. I appreciate what he's said but I'm not happy when I smile. You can see that the crown isn't a good fit after all those years. Was he wrong in what he said? Thanks.

For some reason, I've only got the one which says: Having checked my bank a/c, the info states the payment is pending; that it's been taken from the available balance and takes about 2 days to process. So where exactly is the payment? - Is it being held between WorldPay and the company in question? Thanks.

Funny how there's been over 100 killed by knife attacks in London this year alone, and the far-right Islamophobes couldn't care less. Hi all. Pretty obvious question but when I ask how they work, do the roads in question need to have certain markings on them so the camera can figure out the speed of the car, or can there be no markings at all? If the latter, how would the cameras calculate how fast you're going? Thanks.
