  1. Brexit is the will of the people by definition of Brexit winning the referendum. However, nearly half didn't vote in favour. So she is touring to build consensus for Brexit. So it becomes the will of all the people. That's how I read it. I fail to see how you could not conjure up that interpretation by yourself.
  2. Because someone has paraphrased JFK and Alan has read it and copied it here. Is my guess. But I'm not sure he understands what it means.
  3. If it was sawdust (it's not, of that I'm convinced) wouldn't it float on water? Have you tried?
  4. Here is a question. When Sully ditched his plane in the Hudson could the plane have done that itself? What might a fully automated plane have done instead? Would that be the better option? There was an interesting puzzle in the paper yesterday. Apparently computers can't solve it but humans can, very quickly (if they know and understand chess of course). http://www.telegraph.co.uk/science/2017/03/14/can-solve-chess-problem-holds-key-human-consciousness/ So could fully automated vehicles ever become dangerous because they are too clever for their own good? And this made interesting reading. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-39274411
  5. And/or those that voted remain. That's how I read it. She is attempting to get everyone behind Brexit. I'm not sure she will succeed but I can't see why I1L2T3 struggles with what she meant.
  6. What logic is this? If consensus isn't built it can't be the will of the people. Agreed. Hence her saying she is going on tour to build consensus! Build as in create, generate, develop.
  7. The clue might be in her saying 'building' consensus.
  8. Nazi's is correct. The word Nazi is an abbreviation for the National Socialist German Workers' Party.
  9. I can see you thought about that for a long time. How else could you have come up with such an erudite repudiation?
  10. By imagination you mean tax fraud? Brilliant idea. I'm not happy about the price of a pint. Maybe I should order halves and drink from other people's glasses when they aren't looking to make up for it? If I pick a pub near a HMRC office there's a decent chance it would be a tax man's pint I'm nicking which would be a bonus. Awesome.
  11. People thought she was guilty because she didn't weep in public. Yeah, there's no link whatsoever.
  12. Oh come now, if you wish to stir up conspiracy nonsense at least have the balls to say exactly what you mean. Are you perhaps referring to Clement Freud whose villa was just down the road? I assume you are aware he wasn't even in Portugal when Maddie disappeared? Please don't say you fell for Pizzagate!! ---------- Post added 15-03-2017 at 19:13 ---------- Never heard of Lindy Chamberlain then?
