  1. That's because you're sad in wanting things to go wrong for that very reason.
  2. The 9th will be short lived relief for you. The prophets will be gearing up for the 'i told you so' threads.
  3. I see what you mean. I sort of stayed with it through dimensions 4 5 &6 then my eyes glazed over. I like this bit on dimension 10
  4. No no no, you're quite wrong. I've been informed that Theresa makes U turns, Jeremy, bless him, respects the wishes of other party members and yes, changes his mind.
  5. ..but that would mean we are all travelling to the same future and the future is indeterminate so that can't happen. We can't collectively want the same future as everyone else. At what point in the future does it change for the individual and become their own. All we are doing is moving with time which is the present.
  6. Time travel sends your head into a tail spin the more you think about it. Travelling into the future is semi believable to then travel back to the time you left but travelling back in time from the present sounds beyond plausible as neither the machine nor traveller would exist.
  7. Many already have according to the posts and some are hoping to do so, many more are like you and they love it. There isn't room for all 65 million of us so be thankful that we have differences of opinion.
  8. It has nothing to do with the Tories. The video was used on todays Daily Politics programne as reference only to the Shoot to kill policy and whether or not Jeremy Corbyn still held that (2015) view. His answer was more protracted than has been stated. The question of shoot to kill along with many others surrounding security was aimed at Dominic Raab and shadow Health Sec. John Ashworth. It's worth watching the programme if you have the option, there is blustering by both parties along with lots of evasive answering, a tradition with politicians. ---------- Post added 05-06-2017 at 16:14 ---------- If your last point is true it would certainly explain why they wore hoax bomb vests. ---------- Post added 05-06-2017 at 16:23 ---------- Talking about this the other day and this should be a given.
  9. I don't have a problem with the Floyd sound, it's been with me now for 50 years and even with bands such as Airbag it's a phenomena I can listen to. Waters made up 25% of the band so the sound essentially is him, it's who he is so I see no reason for him to change. I think his albums including Pros and Cons and the few tracks I've found on YouTube from the new one are different enough for them to be his own. If any were Floyd projects the sound would be markedly different again. I like Waters, yeah he's a bit of an arse but you can't knock his lyrics, he has a gift and his sound is addictive.
  10. After much deliberation and prodding with a stick they unanimously agreed that it was a rabbit,......and that it was dead.
  11. But where would we be without our dreams and aspirations! If this is on offer I'll gleefully accept.
  12. It wasn't my argument, I'm just lifting a small section of last nights debate, I've lost nothing. ---------- Post added 03-06-2017 at 03:34 ----------
  13. Please, this is just patronising. No one is stealing anyones future, it's infinite with possibilities to match. At least credit them with the intelligence to make their own decisions without the need to influence them because it's what you want.
  14. I don't think anyone was fantasising over pressing the red button, moreover the audience and Dimbleby were trying in vain to get an answer as to whether or not he would use Trident in defence of missiles that were heading our way already but he still wouldn't say yes or no. Not exactly what you want to hear is it!
  15. I thought Amused to Death was instantly likeable, Kaos not so but as you said his style grows on you. Currently listening to his new stuff on YouTube, sounds good, time will tell
  16. I work at RGH and I've not heard talk of it.
  17. Perhaps all I'm looking at is which of the two will best serve the UK's interests and I'm decided on that.
  18. A well reasoned post sgtkate but (and without pointing fingers) I just find some voters fickle and blind on both sides. A pattern of tarnishing not dissimilar from the political playing field which they are quick to jump on. Like I said, crazy.
  19. This is where it all comes across undone for me. Tory voters are sheep in their beliefs that May is the right person whereas your good self and a few others lap up Corbyn's words with unwavering trust. I don't understand why one is so right and another so wrong. ---------- Post added 02-06-2017 at 10:47 ---------- ..and this. If he were Tory he'd be branded an upper class (take your pick) out for his own kind, it's crazy.
  20. I have no idea anymore I gave up defining a long time ago, I just used the term from the post I replied to
