  1. My boy wants to play football for a team (U8 I think he is currently in y2) He had been toing training at after school club run by swfc but won't be able to do this in y3 I really don't know how the whole thing works, is it to late for him to join a team? do they have trials? We live in s17 so don't really want to travel to far (S7, s8, s18, s10, s11 would be fab) What are the costs? Are there any teams wanting player? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
  2. everyone seems to be slating subway saying that how can a big chain like subway come in, and how it will make small businesses go bankrupt. i am assuming that these people are unaware that all subways are independently owned, thus making them small businesses owned by local people!!! ---------- Post added 07-12-2013 at 22:15 ---------- im guessing that they didnt tell you that you can have whatever salad and sauce you want on it as well as just cheese.
  3. a really useful bit of info for all bikers using Sheffield city center to park. you don't have to worry about finding a motorcycle bay as you may now park in any car space for free. You don't need to display a ticket of any kind (as they are aware these will be stolen), the only restriction to this is permit parking in the actual city center, but you can park in permit only areas else where (like broomhill). i would however be carefull not to park in a car park which is run by a private company as these may be different.
  4. cant miss me either really, 6'6'' and on a bright yellow vfr! lol

  6. starlet - that is a very good point i hadn't even thought about the paths!!
  7. its anywhere between 10:30 and 11am. it does really depend on how quick we get out of carcraft and also how slow we progress along the route. dont forget that the clocks change on sat night/sunday morning.
  8. we ignore the red lights on purpose to make sure we get through and cause minimal disruption. the police and marshals block off the roads so we can do this. also if your are just taking the p*** then fair enough, just thought id tell you just in case you weren't.

  21. cars should not be parked on the footpath at all, if they are that means that they have driven along the footpath to get there which is an endorsable offence of 3 points and a £60 fine (from police) or a parking fine (from council). since this is a cycle path like stated above then they have clearly driven on a footpath, i would get the police involved rather than parking services. they will be willing to come around and dish out some advice as it involves a school, if it continues after that they will come and dish out some points instead. 3 points will have a much bigger effect on their pockets than a £30 parking fine.
  22. under the new rule if you take a test on a 125, youre stuck riding a 125 until you retake both parts of the test on a bigger bike. The minimum age for the restricted test and the DAS has also been increased, from 17 and 21 to 19 and 24. i do believe you only need to take 1 test to move up to the bigger bikes at 19. mod 1 and 2 for your first test and then the ones after that its just the mod 2.
  23. I second Hungry Hound, 18'' £5.99 (collected) yummy!!!!
