  1. Hi, my great grandfather Alfred Sarjeant worked there during WW1. Hopefully, I have managed to include a link to a photo taken at the Admiralty. He is third from the right in the middle row.
  2. Hi Cheryl and Susan, My memory is hazy but I remember both of you. I haven't strayed far. I live in Rotherham. We left Pitsmoor and moved to Sheffield Lane Top when our house was compulsorily purchased for slum clearance about 50 years ago. Nevertheless, it is still standing, but the street has been renamed Maxwell Way. I remember spending ages playing the cigarette packet game. i wonder how widespread it was. I suppose flip top packets put paid to it. I am pleased to hear from you both after all this time.
  3. Hi David, I remember you. I picked you out correctly on the nativity photo, I have that one, but not the Christmas Carol photo. I recall some of the names you mentioned but not all. Other names that come to mind (but I may be wrong) are Mr Albear, Heather? Holt, and a girl called Lockwood. As a new user i am not allowed to post links but there is a recent photo of me on my Facebook profile. facebook.com/tony.sarjeant I found a photo of Tony Woodward on Facebook. He moved to Perth, Australia when he was about 13. All the best, Tony
  4. Yes, between 1957 and 1963. One teacher I remember was Mr Guest. Some of the pupils that come to mind are Tony Woodward, Kathleen Ross, Judith Clarke, Susan George, Michael Elrick, David Seaton, Ian Colley and Mary Hallam.
