Atomic Heart First Day Update (xbox) problems
slh73 replied to XPertByExperien's topic in Computer & Tech Chat
He never mentioned fps, just that the post production is ott and the colour pallette looks washed out. I'd agree with that, it doesnt look great (playing on series x, not streaming), plus it just isn't very good. I've given it an hour and its not compelling me to go any further with it. -

ISPs don't block porn. If they did, they wouldn't stay in business for very long. -
There was definitely a curry house on there, went in a few times but can't for the life of me remember what it was called

How often are you phoning them? I've been with virgin since 2004, and can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I've had to ring their call center (and every time I did they understood my broad yorkshire accent just fine)

This isn't a group as in a pub chain, or financial conglomerate, it's a group of Sheffield musicians, publicans, film makers and artists. https://www.exposedmagazine.co.uk/news/fellowship-of-fagans-takes-on-historic-sheffield-pub/

Bull. I was 21 at the time of the gulf war, and never received anything of the sort. Neither did any other member of my family, even the ones who had served in the armed forces.

Being provided by a hire company doesn't make them any safer, all that does is provide liability insurance in the case of an accident. Makes no difference who supplies it, if an idiot is riding it.

Seeking Info On Sheffield's Underground Tunnels.
slh73 replied to HumbleNarrator's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
If anyone believes that to be true, that someone managed to dig a tunnel in the 1500s, by hand, from the top of manor lane right down to pond Street, presumably going under the river to get there, I've got some magic beans you might be interested in buying -
It'll probably be full of tattooed people with brightly coloured hair, and not accept cash.

It's Paul Ryder, and he played bass.

My 3 Chestermans (150mm, 300mm and a folding 600mm) have been in my toolbox since I was an apprentice 30 years ago, and still look as good as new. Wouldn't have a clue where to get one new from nowadays, but stuff like that turns up second hand on ebay quite often.

So, Which Bright Spark Closed Bocking Lane ?!
slh73 replied to Skink's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Depends where you're coming from and going to. I needed to get from hope to meadowhead, Instead of going via Abbey Lane I went over owler bar, through Holmesfield to bradway, then to meadowhead, and barely saw any traffic at all -
So, Which Bright Spark Closed Bocking Lane ?!
slh73 replied to Skink's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I hit the traffic queue at whirlowDale road/Abbey Lane last night, and went home down abbeydale Road instead to avoid it. Went to work this morning through Dronfield Woodhouse and Holmesfield because I didn't know if it was sorted yet. Looks like I'm coming home that way as well then
