  1. A good away point for ten man Blades and another injury time win for Wednesday at home.
  2. He was still around a few years ago I saw him at a wedding with Bruce Walker. ---------- Post added 25-09-2016 at 12:12 ---------- Sad news I'm sorry to say but I was talking to Denniss Hobson last night and he told me Tony Wilkinson has passed away.
  3. Brighton 0 -1 Barnsley Millers 2-1 Cardiff Owls 0-2 Forest Bury 0-2 Chezzy Scunny 0-2 Blades Luton 2-0 Donny
  4. You seem to want to use the commentators when it suits you and dismiss them if it doesn't. I give an honest opinion on any game I watch regardless of who I support and that first half was poor compared to what I expected to see. As for United and Gillingham being poor I won't stop there as 90% of what I've seen of them over the last 3 years has been poor. So there you have it an honest opinion on both counts.
  5. Well as I have already said a poor first half in my opinion which was goalless a penalty shout which all the commentators said was bang on. I didn't watch the second half but three goals suggests more entertainment.
  6. If we win this one I will be a lot more convinced we may be on our way to a good season. Scunthorpe drew 0-0 at home last night so let's hope the extra few days rest helps us. A draw would be Ok but I'm hoping for more. Keep pulling together lads and we can do it. ALL FOR ONE. ONE FOR ALL.
  7. Let's not get into an argument pal I've made my comment and answered your post but if you want it more bluntly, I'd rather not get in a discussion with you personally it always ends the same boring way deleted posts closed or vanishing threads etc. I thought it was a poor first half my opinion and I'm entitled to it without you telling me what I can or can't post on here.
  8. Wednesday certainly had the best of it early on but Birmingham came back into it, what do you reckon to their penalty shout?. The commentator never shut up about it we were all saying we wished he's shut up about it but he was outraged. ---------- Post added 21-09-2016 at 09:57 ---------- I can say anything I like.
  9. I thought it was very poor but that's just my opinion, as I said I thought Wednesday were slightly better and edged it. I was with United and Wednesday fans who had organised this room to watch the game specially as the rest of the place they had Everton on there was only two of us left watching when the half time whistle blew.
  10. I watched the first half which I think was poor although Wednesday edged it. I didn't bother watching the second half. From the elation of winning their previous game in the 96th minute to being gutted losing this game the same way all in five days shows the ups and downs of being a fan. I'm sure the Bristol fans went home feeling the same last week. What goes around comes around. Karma. I posted near enough the same yesterday and for some reason it has been removed if anything above is against forum rules please point out where and I'll adjust it accordingly.
  11. It's also in the Derbyshire times It's obvious the case was fast tracked with the defendant consenting to that.
  12. Stick around pal you're contributions are Ok keep wearing them down.:hihi:. ---------- Post added 20-09-2016 at 10:32 ---------- Thanks for that but as expected it fell on deaf ears with the OP.
  13. Brighton 0 Reading 2 Derby 0 Liverpool 4 Leeds 2 Blackburn 0 Leicester 1 Chelsea 1 Scunthorpe 0 Charlton 1 Swindon 0 Bristol R 1
  14. Three of them at Filbert Street.
  15. I remember making the trip to Filbert street with my owls pals for the replays with Arsenal.

  17. The 4-4 draw was also a replay they drew 1-1 before that.
  18. 2-0 down to the Blades not too long ago and got a draw.
  19. I won't be able to post much over the next few days so for the predictions this weekend can I have?,,,,,,,,. Blades win 3-0. Owls lose 4-0. Barnsley win 2-0. Rotherham Win 2-0. Doncaster WIN 2-0. Chesterfield win 2-0.
  20. Wednesday played Lyon over two legs they lost the first leg 4-2 and won the second leg 5-2, the game against Barcelona that season at Hillsborough Wednesday won 3-2 and lost the next leg 2-0.
  21. Yes that was the FA cup final I'm not sure if it still stands but they were the only team to be 2-0 up and lose in normal time. I remember the game well Wednesday were also the first losing team to do a lap of honour. Those were the days when it was normal for us to want both Sheffield clubs to win except when they played each other.
  22. It's a great feeling when it goes your way the Bristol fans must be gutted but it's happened to all of us both ways in the past.
  23. Do you think he got it right yesterday or got lucky?, if Bristol had not missed a penalty it could have been very different.
  24. A lot of Owls were baffled and not happy with the starting line up and I think if Wednesday had not nicked a win they would have had plenty to say about it. 3pts is all that matters in the end though.
  25. Let's hope we can keep the momentum going after three wins in a row. This one is on home ground after two on the bounce away so get behind them and be the 12th man.
