  1. Just got my insurance renewal through as well. If I stayed with the same insurer, they want 60% more than I paid last year. Got quotes off 2 leading comparison sites and and AXA comes out the cheapest, although there's a price difference of £50 between the sites, so dont just use one site. Also, think carefully about protecting your no claims bonus. The price they are charging now seems to outweigh what it would cost to lose a couple of years of NCB. Starting to think that Fully Comp might be a waste of money too as my car goes down in value every year but the excess I would have to pay if I have an accident keeps going up.
  2. Sounds like the waste pipe is blocked. Had similar problem on my brother's dishwasher. Pulled the pipe apart and cleared it out with a hose pipe. Beware though, the contents of the pipe and the water stink
  3. This could possibly be down to a split vacuum hose. This may account for the blowing noise, lack of power and poor acceleration.
  4. Phew! Thanks for the advice. Was just on my way out with the sawn-off and the balaclava.
  5. Try Paul at Carneil engineering based in Staveley. It's his own company, he rides bikes himself and he's a top banana. 01246 281846
  6. My advice would be to just rent a caravan when you wanted to go on holiday. That way you can go to different places and you wont be held to ransom by site owners who continually increase fees and make it impossible to get out without making a huge loss.
  7. I think you'll be looking at a starting price of £1000. Obviously, if you want plush fittings / shower / radiator etc, then you will probably be looking at up to £2000 Mine cost about 3k a couple of years back but that included ripping out the old water tank, fitting a combi boiler and tiling. Hope this helps
  8. Does it have to be a hire sunbed. I've got one - you can have it for free if you collect, it's just taking space up in the spare bedroom. PM me if interested. It's a single canopy by the way.
  9. I saw a red Subaru yesterday. What car do you drive?
  10. Try Alicast Products Units 4 & 5, Kelham Court, DONCASTER, DN1 3RF Tel 01302 327250
  11. You've probably got an air lock in the pipe leading to or from the radiator. Try turning all the other radiators in the house off, just leaving the bathroom one on, while the heating is running. That should clear the air lock.
