  1. Completely Agree Robin...A close family member has been using heroin for many many years as said previously, he has been in prison many many times & each time he was released he was clean but not for long... Once the chemical changes in the brain have set in, which can happen quite quickly, the craving never goes away...Heroin is deadly !!!!!!!!!!! its far better IMHO to treat & monitor them than let them carry on stealing to fund the addiction & buying the crap from dealers on the streets.
  2. I have a close relative who is a Heroin Addict & has been for almost 30 years. Q.. where does your supposedly expert knowledge come from ?
  3. Where is my recent Topic post , it seems to have vanished # "Looking for old friends ,Ken & Pat Travis" use to live in Sheffield But now at Retford .# any info would be appreciated
  4. A full blown addicted Heroin Addict just cant stop taking it & most dont want to stop....& they find when fully addicted that they need Heroin just to feel normal again & not to get the rush they got when they 1st started using.. long term use of Heroin changes the Brain function & more often permanently. So these users need treating for the addiction just like if they had any other illness & if they were they would not need the dealers. https://www.drugrehab.com/addiction/drugs/heroin/heroin-effects-on-the-brain/
  5. I am trying to find the contact details for Pat & Ken Travis, i believe they are living in or near Retford now. Pat Travis > her maiden Name was Pat Worrall ..she use to live on the Birley estate in Sheffield years ago, if anyone knows how i can contact Pat & Ken lease let me know
  6. Julie Dore "standing Down" GOOD she was absolutely useless & could not Lead a Dog, she is just like all the other politicians in Sheffield City Council.. Hopeless.
  7. There are No "Booze Dealers" & No Fag dealers <>only those selling cheap contraband & they are now few.... Drug Dealing is at epidemic levels all over the world & thats why there are so many young death by knife crime all over the UK. I am a believer that treating Drug Addicts by prescribing addicts & Heroin in particular which is a Evil Drug it would get rid of most of the Drug Dealers & eventually all of them, it will also it will cut out the shoplifting by the addicts. a win win situation imo Look what happened in the USA when they banned Alcohol in the 20's there were bootleggers / Gangsters all over the country earning fortunes & also murdering each other just like what happening now with the Drug dealings.

  10. Do you know know if this "Prestige" are Approved Servicing Agents by Land Rover ? I have a 2018 Evoque 2litre Diesel, still under warranty & nearly ready for its 1st service, the main agents Guy Salmons in Sheffield want an arm & a leg for the service & so do Gordon Lamb Chesterfield. Are there any others in Sheffield that are approved service agents ?
  11. Why would you think talking to any of them would do any good or get you the result you looking for, you may as well talk to a budgie.. the best of luck
  12. Quote:-euclid Skeggy,Brid,Mablethorpe,Scarboro',etc as well as runs around the peak district.Go quite a few times to Willingham Woods and around the Lincs Wolds..excellent quiet roads.Good on yer for still doing what you like. Quote:- flightliner Just outside Market Rasen there were loadsof guys with their bikes near 4he caf'e just outside the town. From then on going over the wolds to Louth we were overtaken by quite a few of them. Lovely to see them all enjoying the ride on a lovely sunny day Yes we use to do these runs years ago, Skeggy almost every weekend fabulous !.... At that time I worked at Samuel Osborne's in the Wicker..2 shifts Monday To Friday 6am to 12 am morning shift & 1pm to 6pm afternoons, so Friday morning finishing at 12am lunch time a quick shower in the mess room & off to Skeggy for the week end, Monday morning we would set off back to get to work for the 1pm afternoon shift.. Great times. The trouble with the run to Willingham Woods is if you go via Bawtry there are the speed cameras or at least there use to be a few years back, but I have done a few charity rides from there, In the 60's that run out via Bawtry, Gainsborough , Market Raisen, Louth, to Skeggy, a brilliant ride. Nowadays I actually vary my ride outs more than I did back then, more time on my hands now... Bring on the warmer weather...
  13. Might see you at Matlock in a month or so when the weather warms up a bit...
