So because historically we caused the extinction of other species we should carry on causing the extinction of other speices, which will inevitably lead to our own extinction. I think you misunderstand Jeffrey's post.

Apart from it say 6/10 people not 6/10 people with a complaint. It goes on to say. "Most patients are scared to complain about poor treatment because they fear that they will be ‘branded troublemakers’ by the NHS." That line implies that most patients have a something to complain about but say nothing.

I know and just said that. I don't intend doing anything about it. I'm doing all I can do right now. The population was stable at around 1 billion befor the advent of cheap enegy and industrialisation, they are the cause of unsustanable population growth. I conserve my air and float gently to the surface. Walking slowly doesn't increase my energy consumption by a great deal so if I eat what I find close by I will be OK.

At a huge cost to the environment, the rate at which we are producing food is unsustainable because it is using water, soil and energy faster than it is being replenished. Producing that much food is one of the reasons we are seeing climate change, which is the primory cause of the floods.

Overconsumption is a situation where resource use has outpaced the sustainable capacity of the ecosystem. A prolonged pattern of overconsumption leads to inevitable environmental degradation and the eventual loss of resource bases.

The countries that over consume are the countries that need to reduce their population size, we are such a country. Imigration contributes to global over population and global over consumption.

But still we manage to continue increasing the population in our already overpopulated country which leads to even greater global over consumption.

That's what has to do when the NHS repeatedly got it wrong.

I haven't been asked how the population could fall, I was asked if I was going to cull myself and how I was going to cut the population. I'm not going to cull anyone and I can't cut the population, the population will fall if everyone decided to have fewer children, obviousley if the majority choose not too have fewer children the concequences of an overpopulated planet will keep getting worse. ---------- Post added 31-12-2015 at 16:07 ---------- You are correct, they believe we all consume too much even though their policies would increase consumption.
