  1. The wife and me both have good jobs we work long hours,we have given up going out to pubs and clubs as they all seem to be full of <REMOVED>,so we tend to spend most of our down time at home so our TV means a lot to us, we have a 50"inch Philips ambilight TV that we paid nearly 2k for about eight years ago,it still has a brilliant picture and has given trouble free service so far,I used to be a TV repair and sky man in the past and it always amazed me when we would go to fit sky or install a large TV in the house when they had no carpets and wallpaper with half a dozen dogs living in some horrible council house,I always thought some people just seem to get their priorities all wrong..
  2. What kind of speed must they have been traveling at to do that kind of damage, I feel sorry for the dead person not a nice way to go, but surely if they had been driving properly to the 30mph speed limit there the accident would probably not have been so bad.
  3. What about this one I was travelling to Leeds last night I was in the middle lane doing just under 70mph when in front of me was a builder's van,the back flap was hanging down covering all the lights and number plate how I missed him I don't know.I passed him and and tried to ring the 101 number it just kept ringing and no answer,Im sure somone was going to run into him, absolute idiot...
  4. Why does every arsehole who you owe money to crawl out of the woodwork a christmas:rant::rant:.....
  5. He says very silly things at times no I don't support anything he says at all,,what makes me think is if we ban him from here and actually becomes US president that would definitely screw the special relationship up..
  6. I run four vans for work a Bipper and three connect vans, the Bipper has 251.000 miles on the clock and apart from the usual brakes tyres and belts and suspension tops has never been any trouble at all and is used daily for long distance, the connect vans all have well over 100,000 on the clock and again apart from service ware and tare things still run well, most diesels if serviced regular will run well into the hundreds of thousands of miles,I don't think petrol engines seem to cover as much miles before they clap out,it all depends on how they have been looked after in the past, short distance daily trips are best done in a petrol car long distance motorway driving is best done in a diesel car,a far cry from the old cortinas and vauxhalls that would be on the scrap heap after 50,000 miles.
  7. He might well be guilty of these sex crimes but have you ever tried to talk to someone who suffers from dementia, let alone take them to court..my Mum was horrible and nasty when she was younger and put me and my wife through some real stress and bad times in the past, she is now in a old folks home suffering from dementia she's completely ga ga you can't get any sense out of her at all,you just can't hold someone like that responsible in that state for things they did in the past, you can't lock him up it would cost thousands to us taxpayers to keep him in prison suffering from dementia he would need 24/7 care,,I just can't help thinking though that because he has loads of money and position he's getting away with it, as usual with rich and privileged people.
  8. Most modern vehicles will easily cover that milage providing they have been looked after especially diesels, give it a good service and change the cambelt.you will probly have to change things like brake pads and clutches at sometime in the near future
