  1. Yeah. I dunno about the players, but back to back tests are a killer for the viewers.
  2. Thanks for that. Glad you liked Seven by 7. We still do the odd event, but not very often. We've got a facebook page you can join to get updates.
  3. Oh dear. Just put the radio on and it sounds like Stuart Broad is out of the series.
  4. If we get Hussey out early, then I England should win despite the weather. Exciting stuff. Thanks also for the free stream tips. Still not had any joy.
  5. It may not be allowed under forum rules, but if anyone has a free stream, please pm me. TMS are doing a great job, but I'd love to watch it (although not enough to pay Murdoch for it).
  6. As if any Seven by 7 pop quiz regulars needed official confirmation!
  7. In countries with a lot of snow like Finland, you have to take part of your test on an ice rink. You also have to know how to look after your car in winter conditions, when and how to change to winter tyres etc. The amount of snow we usually get here hardly warrants this. We'll all be waiting another 10 years to put our new skills to practice. It is amazing how slowly some people drive in snow. I had to overtake 2 cars on my way into work the other day because they were driving so slowly, and I was cycling.
  8. Agree it would be great if home tests were on terrestial. I don't remember away series ever being on telly before Sky. I wouldn't have had the chance to watch much of the latest test anyway as I was at work everyday except Sunday. I was bemoaning earlier the lack of a decent highlights package. I imagine it's too late to sort anything out for the final test of this series. Hopefully they'll get something sorted for the Ashes next winter.
  9. So glad that Ian Ronald Bell proved me wrong. It must have been my criticism that inspired such a performance! Once Colly and Bell had made it past tea, I thought we were safe. Even when the wickets started to fall, I never stopped believing. Bloody hell though, they are certainly making test cricket exciting. What's 20 20?
  10. I'm not really believing this as I write (I think we'll lose), but England have recent pedigree saving test matches. Anderson can draw on his Cardiff experience, and Colly has the first test of this series to inspire him. Ian Bell, well less said about him the better. I reckon Anderson's the man. If he can hang around for a while tomorrow morning, that'll get up the noses of the bowlers. One thing's for certain, it'll be a fascinating day's cricket. Oh to be snowed in tomorrow!
  11. Well it's not quite a megathread yet. Looks like SA will level the series in the 3rd test. New ball due first thing tomorrow morning so it could change, but I can't see us bowling SA out. I reckon they'll declare at around tea tomorrow with a lead of about 500 ahead and back themselves to take 10 wickets in the final 4 sessions. Anybody else think sky's so called "highlights" are interminable? I know they've got a schedule to fill, but surely it would be better to repeat a shorter programme a few times a night than the current 2 hour purgatory. O for someone else to provide a snappy 45-60 minutes highlights programme for overseas tests. Five do it brilliantly for the home tests.
  12. My wife and I took our son on the wheel today for his birthday treat along with his maternal grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousin. We all thought it was brilliant. I was pleasantly surprised. As many others have posted, you don't usually have to go far in sheffield to find a decent view, but I thought the 360 degree views from the top of the wheel were outstanding.
