re Mulberry St podiatry clinic, I read about it on this thread and I thought you might like to know my experience. I googled "Central Health Clinic Podiatry" and phoned them and they sent me a self referral form for me to fill in and send back. It is obvious from the form that the service is prioritised (as it should be) to people with serious health problems such as diabetes. Anyway I filled in the form and described my problems (a corn, and I need new inserts) and sent it off. I got a phone call saying they would see me for my corn, but because it wasn't an emergency it could take 3 months (it has been 6 weeks ish and so far I haven't received an appointment). And for new inserts I need to get a referral from my GP. So, all in all, it seems this system works, but if you want help in a hurry and it isn't an emergency, and you have the money, you might be better off seeing someone privately.
