  1. Could that be because Blair's illegal war didn't have UN backing?
  2. Don't mid term blues normally refer to the party of government, not the chief opposition, supposedly reinvigorated under a dynamic and charismatic new leader before his gloss starts to fade?
  3. So this world war three you talk about. Who are the other side? Keep taking the tablets. Corbyn wouldn't allow our troops to confront an enemy marching up the beaches at Dover.
  4. So what breed of 1970s communist lunatic would you say that he is?
  5. So they want to kill all non muslims and take over the world. So compromise would be to give them Europe Africa and Asia and just allow them to kill half of us. The problem with negotiating with folk who even want to negotiate is that discussion shuts down the moment you suggest bringing war criminals to account. Morality goes out the window the moment you let it drop.
  6. It does seem rather like negotiating with the Yorkshire Ripper doesn't it? "If you'll stick to just murdering prostitues we'll turn a blind eye"
  7. Tell us all about the negotiation in WW2. Was that before the Russians arrived in Berlin or afterwards?
  8. What would you consider a good result for Corbyn then? Winning by .. 15000? 10,000? 5,000? 1,000? Loosing by only 500?
  9. So if MPs vote to allow airstrikes, the majority would have been higher if Cameron had apologised? MPs are fickle.
  10. I didn't waste your time. You wasted it yourself. Twice. The word you were probably searching for is IF.
  11. Tomorrow sees the by-election in Oldham West and Royston. It will be a big test of the leadership of Corbyn and his shadow cabinet. Oldham West and Royston is one of the safest Labour seats in the country. In May when Labour lost the general election they held Oldham West and Royston with a majority of 14,738. As they need a swing of around 7 points to win at the next general election they will be looking to increase that majority to show their new man at the top is what voters are looking for. Having looked at the polls it isn't looking as though this is going to plan.
  12. It seems up to 1 million folk have crossed back into Syria since the Russian intervention, into areas where they now feel safe.
