I'll be honest, I not long got it and paid nowt for it. It seeeeeems solid so it's worth doing and I might do it mi sen. It's a bit annoying cos on test drive there was no noise what so ever, bout a week later I noticed it knocking lmao.. I think I got a good couple of months in it.. Once it starts getting to point when I can hear it even when it's warmed up I'll get it done then. Wish I could go single flywheel route but I got multiple people telling me I'll have no gearbox or crank within a year soooo xD.. 150K its lasted and I don't drive hard so tbf that's life of car with another DMF.

Ey up!. Just wondering if anyone has fitted a Single mass flywheel to a Mk4 Mondingo? .. Just wondering as I am on borrowed time with mine, Kind of odd really rattles like mad when cold (Goes when clutch is pressed) but almost goes all together when warmed up 😕 .. Anyway I'm not trying to cheap out, I will fit the new DMF buuuuut I have seen SMF conversion kits and the clutch plates included have some pretty meaty looking springs in them. Gots me wondering if anyone else has done this, seen one video and it rattled on idle but then again not 100% sure if the dude put the correct clutch plate in. If it works I may go that route just for longevity reasons.

I understand what you're saying and appreciate your response.. But even after I passed my test the preiums were acceptable when i was quoted with fulll licence. Just seems that this month the prices are mental. And cheers Zach I'll have another look into it later on!.

Hey there. Is it just me or is anyone else getting really high car insurance quotes this month. Fair enugh I only passed my test in April but when I first insured my car in November last year and my 2L mondeo last month it was like 800 quid or so.. Now every quote is nearly 3 grand even for our lass who has been driving 4 years. Has anyone else experienced this, will it go back down?... Wondering if July is just expensive or if something as happened that has jacked up the prices that I have missed. We're both nearing / in our 30s as well

Hi there My band is in desparate need of a SOLID bass player. I have been looking but to no avail. We are an experimental mostly alt rock group with original material and a few covers to mix things up a little. We are all pretty experienced I have had 4 years with being in bands fronted and joined (Still in one at the moment Sinners Sermon )... This I will not let rest though as I have a plethora of songs and ideas I want to get out there and I want to write with like minded people as well.
